No Rap Songs in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 40 for the First Time Since 1990
https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/no-rap-songs-hot-100-top-40-first-time-since-1990-1236100625/ Quite an interesting article - and very surprising! It's interesting that aside from a couple of big hitters, it's similarly declined in both the UK & US over the last few years. The US scene definitely has felt very stale over the last few years, it feels like the big names from the 2015-18 trap wave are still the ones at the top.

The Celebrity Apprentice • 2025 Christmas Specials
I really liked the celeb specials they had a few years ago, I hope this lives up to them.

Doctor Who • 2023-
Good to see the CBeebies show mentioned again too. I don’t have much interest in it as a show, but am curious as to what characters/era(s) it will focus on. I can see several Doctors being featured.

Friday Chart Predictions
I don’t think it’s related to Halloween. Looking at last.fm, it had a big rise in August and has been fairly steady since. Thanks to TikTok, according to the comments.

Friday Chart Predictions
Great to see The Clause finally release a debut album, 6 years after they signed to Sony and were dropped without releasing a single song! They were very briefly the Next Big Indie Band, but alas.

Bon Jovi - Forever
I expect it will be a re-entry - it’s no different really to Charli xcx’s BRAT remix album.
