  1. I wasn’t expecting them to, it’s clearly aimed at the Indian market.
  2. At least on Spotify, it’s credited as Fred again/Skepta/PlaqueBoyMax
  3. Yes, it’s just hard rock/metal (or, whatever they consider to be that). The OCC’s rock singles charts quite often misses songs I’d consider to be in that genre. Yet Fall Out Boy’s Centuries is a mainstay!
  4. 35 is a bit awkward...
  5. Underneath the Tree and Santa Tell Me do very well too.
  6. Ren & The Skinner Brothers is a collab from hell…
  7. Very likely - last year’s was announced on 4th November.
  8. Amazon usually gives them decent playlisting still the year after. I don’t think any of them have actually broken into the public consciousness though.
  9. Depends what you've heard before I think - he's been pretty indie pop for about a decade now.

  11. I wasn't a huge fan of 'End of Summer', but loving the album overall! 'Oblivion', 'Not My World', 'Afterworld', and of course 'Dracula' are my standouts. I like that it's about a 50/50 split between his dance and more typical indie pop music.

  14. Both are there for me!

Indeed, the difference between this and last year when they showed English Teacher winning again was crazy!
  18. And he’s just won the Mercury Prize! I’m really excited for this, it sounds incredibly catchy. Although, if I were in Deacon Blue, I’d want a credit 😂
  19. Great comeback, love the piano solo.
  20. Good shout - and they played the O2 Arena in 2024, so they have some sort of fanbase.
  21. Wolf Alice & Nothing But Thieves are my top picks, at least for recent artists. It feels crazy that Catfish and the Bottlemen only have one Top 40 too.
  22. I believe the last time this question came up, the most common answer (or at least one of them) was Tame Impala. He has now achieved one with ‘Dracula’! Who do we think is in contention for this title now?
  23. 'We Made It Look Easy' feat. Robbie Williams is out tomorrow.
