I'm surprised this is only Biffy's fourth #1 album! They feel like the sort of band that would've had a few more by now.

Katie Price is the first act to throw her hat in the ring this year, with a Christmas ballad releasing for charity. Her "music career" has become a bit of meme recently, so perhaps that will help, but low Top 100 at absolute best is what I predict! I feel like there will be some sort of right-wing campaign this year, and perhaps The Kunts will be back to combat that. We'll see though... (congratulations to Wham!)

My Christmas 2025 playlist has begun with this banger from Brad Paisley! Is there much else out there yet? Pentatonic just released the lead single to yet another Christmas album 'Bah Humbug', it's just ok though. I won't be listening to them regularly until November though!

Loving this at the moment - that caption is very very catchy. It charted at #73 which isn't bad, one of their higher charting songs since their 2017 comeback. It's also the first singles chart appearance for Sparks since 'Perfume' reached #80 in 2006!

Lots of acts with big singles haven't had big albums. That doesn't matter for Olivia, as she clearly has a big fanbase now, but in general that's not always the case. Robert Plant will probably sell more than someone like Becky Hill, for example.
