My favourite episode from this series was The Idiot's Lantern. The Wire used to scare the life out of me when I was younger, but I absolutely love this episode now. I've always found the years right after WW2 quite interestings.
Most people's least favourite episode from this series is Love & Monsters, which I can understand why, but I quite like it! It's very different to other DW episodes, and whilst the villain is quite silly, Peter Kay does a great job of bringing it to life.
(though the ending is quite... strange!)

So, countries are preparing to bid to host the 2030 World Cup, and the FA are considering a bid for England!
There is also expected to be a joint bid from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, marking the 100-year anniversary of the first World Cup in Uruguay.
I'm very excited by the prospect of England potentially hosting the World Cup again, I can see the atmosphere in the stadiums being insane.

Vampire Weekend have now signed with Sony Music, after previously being signed to XL Recordings, and the fourth album is set to be out by the end of the year.
It's now been 5 years since their last album was released, so I'm ready for more!

Example is releasing Bangers & Ballads on August 17th. He says he isn't sure what to call it: an album, mixtape, EP, etc. But the first single is releasing next week!
He's posted previews of the three singles on his Instagram story, each being a released every week starting Thursday:
Track 1: Back 4 More (with Rude Kid)
Track 2: Show Me How to Love (with an uncredited female vocalist)
Track 3: Sit Down Gary (with DJ Zinc)

Culture Club are back and have released the lead single from their 6th album Life, their first since Don't Mind If I Do in 1999!
I really like this song, I can easily see it being one of my favourites from them in the future. I'm very excited for the new album.
