I don't think I've watched one fully in years tbh.

 

Jungle's 'Back on 74' was only a hit last year after the music video went viral on TikTok, so they can still have some impact - nowhere near as 10+ years ago though.

Another folk song entered the chart this week! This one is ‘Belong Together’ from New York musician Mark Ambor, and I think it’s one of my favourites from the recent folk revival in the charts.

Why a Thursday release?

Radio 2 premieres usually happen on that morning. It's not like they'll chart at this point, so there's no real reason to release on Fridays.

#131 today on US Spotify and new in at #3 on the UK Viral Chart - I think this will be massive soon.

 

The single debuted at #60 this week, T-Pain's first since 'Jerry Sprunger' reached #32 in 2019. Although I had know idea that existed until now. :lol:
