Ah, Pitbull & Dolly appear to be taking off on TikTok. It's crap, but quite enjoyable crap. I've missed Mr. 305 in the charts.

Yeah Kanye is not releasing nothing so quick after the first if he had it then it would have been released with the first. Not sure where that rumour even came from
Kanye posted the March 8th release date for Vultures 2 on Instagram a while back. It might not actually happen, but it’s more than just a rumour.

At the bottom of the article it says “Chart compiled based on official UK audio and video streams of country songs from all major UK streaming platforms. Please note, for the purpose of this rundown, artists only appear once only as solo acts, but can feature a second time for a duet/featured artist tracks.”
Ah, that makes sense. Presumably they did that to avoid it being a Taylor onslaught then.
I guess 'Fast Car' 'I Remember Everything' would've been somewhere in there too.

Announced for Hyde Park, hopefully that means "LANA" is fairly imminent and comes before?
Really want to try to get tickets to see her but I just know they'll be crazy expensive and I've heard mixed things about Hyde Park shows
General admission is £90, although I'm not sure if that's considered expensive for this sort of thing or not.

I was looking through the BRITs eligibility list, and it's interesting to see that the R&B Award covers 24 months:
For 2024, R&B will be one of five genre awards, along with Alternative/Rock, Dance, Pop and Hip Hop/Grime/Rap, ensuring visibility for UK R&B artists at The BRIT Awards, with the five genre awards collectively showcasing the tremendous versatility, creativity and diverse musical styles of British music. Eligibility for the R&B Award will cover a 24-month period as opposed to the usual 12 months to ensure that artists that released music in those two years qualify and are eligible. -

I don’t get why they air it on Saturdays now, not that I’m certain it’d make a difference. I was out last night and the pubs and clubs were heaving and I really don’t think children and teenagers are that into the Brits these days.
The most recent weekday show (2022) had just 2.7m overnight figures, so I agree that it probably wouldn't have helped much.
Looking at its ratings history though, it's never really pulled in massive numbers - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brit_Awards#Viewing_figures
Interesting to see that it got to as low as 3.84m in 2014 though, before bouncing back up to 5.99 a year later. An Ant & Dec impact presumably.
