iTunes Weekly Thread w/c 31st October 2025
Sam Clegg’s song is a from a video he’s put out under the name “John Lewis Christmas Advert 2025”. That’s how he’s promoting it on socials too - and people seem to believe it. He did the same thing last year, before eventually changing the video name.

Capital FM/Big Top 40 Discussion
I think she’s just too big at this point though - I don’t even think she’d headline Radio 1’s Big Weekend anymore. And would probably be listed in The Sun article, as they’re usually correct with entertainment news. The wording to me suggests that the group is HUNTR/X.

I don’t think 5SOS are old enough to be the surprise throwback act, it’ll be someone from the 2000s I imagine

No Rap Songs in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 40 for the First Time Since 1990
https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/no-rap-songs-hot-100-top-40-first-time-since-1990-1236100625/ Quite an interesting article - and very surprising! It's interesting that aside from a couple of big hitters, it's similarly declined in both the UK & US over the last few years. The US scene definitely has felt very stale over the last few years, it feels like the big names from the 2015-18 trap wave are still the ones at the top.

Doctor Who • 2023-
Good to see the CBeebies show mentioned again too. I don’t have much interest in it as a show, but am curious as to what characters/era(s) it will focus on. I can see several Doctors being featured.
