Radio 1 Playlist (26/06/26): My body isn't ready for my guy
He's certainly not as big as Becky, but randomly 2017's Jamie Miller is doing pretty well for himself! 4.2m monthly listeners on Spotify, with several songs at 50m+ streams and one with 500m+. Looks like it's thanks to TikTok, he has 4m followers on there.

The Hunna - blue transitions
Perhaps unsurprisingly, they’re splitting up after their next tour.

Friday Chart Predictions
It’s probably the biggest it’s been now since the 70s. You’ve got loads of contemporary country artists selling out UK arenas, if not stadiums. Modern country hits are being certified Silver/Gold/Platinum every week, even if they didn’t chart here. And we’re getting lots of actual Top 100 entries frequently now too - it was only a matter of time one properly crossed over (by someone who didn’t usually make pop music!)

The Script - The User's Guide to Being Human
‘The Crowd Was Singing Wonderwall’ is out on Friday - interesting title!

Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 26/06/26
Great to see deathcore in the Spotify Top 200 thanks to BMTH! Almost certainly the heaviest song to ever make the chart?
-
Every song that has gone platinum despite never reaching the UK Top 40- FULL LIST
There seems to be at least one modern country song getting certified every week these days!

The BuzzJack Friday Chart Show Thread: 26th June 2026
Fun fact: Boston samples Stick Season and Noah Kahan is credited as a writer.

The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues
For some reason Mick Jagger sounds like Rude Ralph in the verses of this 😂

sombr - My Body Isn't Ready
I prefer his more upbeat song, but I like it a lot more than I thought I would from the preview.

Bring Me The Horizon - Count Your Blessings | Repented
It's certainly very heavy! Would love it to chart:
-
Phoebe Bridgers - Lost Boys
Yeah, I’m very intrigued as to what its first day streams will be like. Top 50 on Spotify UK would be great.
-
Indie/Rock/Alt Track of the Week 2026: Week 25
final call!
-
Kasabian - ACT III
True, but one of the quieter weeks for a while I’d say though. I think President could be the dark horse out of those though.
-
Kasabian - ACT III
Album has been pushed back to 4th September… conveniently avoiding Gracie Abrams and now on a fairly clear release week!
-
Bleachers - Merry Christmas, Please Don't Call
They’ve been playing it every night on their tour happening right now too!
-
Royal Blood - TBA
Lots of artists have done far worse than get a bit annoyed at a festival! Their fans wouldn’t care less about it.
-
Muse - The Wow! Signal
'Hush' features Ellie Goulding - and is the song on the NMF playlists tomorrow! Very intrigued as to how that sounds.
-
Teddy Swims - Break Up in Reverse
A new song currently being performed live. Sounds good! It’s a bit more soft rock than his other singles.
-
Royal Blood - TBA
Coming late 2026! No other news than that currently. I thought the last album had some good tracks but definitely their weakest so far, especially after the excellent Typhoons - so hopefully this is a return to form. It was a big drop off commercially too, so hopefully they can turn things around.
-
Bleachers - Merry Christmas, Please Don't Call
Bizarrely, this is still Bleachers most streamed song as a lead artist daily - getting over 100k streams on Spotify a day! I know it's not the most Christmassy song, but I can't imagine listening to it outside of that period.
-
Snow Patrol & Kylie Minogue - These Alarms
Now confirmed! Probably makes sense to merge this with the one in the Kylie forum if you have the ability to do that @JosephStyles - don't think there needs to be two threads for it?
