I just thought myself none of the new tracks have really stood out much for me(apart from the lush ‘Love Will Get You There’) will give it a spin though!

Fair enough! Although the new one does actually have a slightly higher Metacritic score than the first, albeit with a slightly smaller amount of views.

Oh hmm that doesn't look too great for Skrillex actually.

He's now up to #10 if that's any consolation! I was expecting a little higher though tbh.

It's a different metric, number of views of a single video vs. measuring how many videos use the song

It (having “100 million views”) is just not the same as actually going viral on TikTok as it had only been used in 20k videos. For comparison that new Mae Stephens song (which isn’t even Top 40) has over 200k videos.

 

So there was no real evidence for it to absolutely blow up right out of the gate, but it is certainly performing decently.

Where have you got 100m from? His TikTok with the song with the most views has 9.3m of them, but the song’s hardly gone viral on there. It’s only been used in 20k videos, which isn’t a massive amount when it’s worldwide.

He's had a few #50-100 range singles in the last couple of years, so it'll be interesting to see how this does as his first album lead single since 'The Search' in 2019.

The fanfare round Inhaler hasn’t been great for this release, can see the bundles pushing them to 15-20k but not the strength of the new songs. Pink should easily do and can break 25k imo!

Eh, the fan reception has been quite good from what I’ve seen! They’re not massive anyway, so it’s hard to judge the “fanfare” from outside their core base.

 

They all seem to be performing decently on streaming too, with the new tracks all on top of their most ‘popular’ list still - that doesn’t happen for so long (8 months in the case of ‘These Are The Days’) if they’re not clicking.
