    My Bad I forgot to list "The Man" in his chart toppers but he should have just 14 not 15- altered. It doesn't change his position though. I haven't given any writer another No 1 for "Sausage Rolls" as it is essentially the same song but it does contribute to the weeks at No 1 tally.

    Hmm. To be honest I'd probably include 'Sausage Rolls' as, even though it has the same melody, pretty much all the lyrics are different from the original.

    I can't remember why they were wanting to put a ribbon around a bomb but it's a funky track nonetheless!

     

    This is why, apparently!

     

    'Ribbon Around The Bomb' is a metaphor and alludes to how people try to dress things up which have an underlying darkness lying beneath them. Things and people can be delicate yet also destructive – sometimes at first glance, things are not what they appear to be.
