It’ll be interesting to see how Blink-182’s single on Friday does. Tom DeLonge has returned so there’s a lot of hype for it + I believe there’s even a Lyrical Lemonade video coming for it too (much like Lil Yachty).

Are they on the same label? Short of all involved coming to some sort of resolution where all versions are credited to the three involved artists, I can’t see how they won’t continue to chart separately.

Oliver/Robin is up to #23 on Spotify today, Southstar up to #70.

Following on from 2019’s ‘Metal Galaxy’, the K-rock duo are back again with new album ‘THE OTHER ONE’ out on March 24th!

 

No lead single yet though, so hopefully it’s out soon.

 

Most TikTok hits don’t have successful follow-ups, but his recent singles still have decent streaming numbers.

A video for "I Don't Like Myself" released today

 

His other song ‘Here With Me’ is also in the Spotify viral chart so I’d love to see that one take off too, it’s even better than this IMO!

Both are good, although the more polished Schulz version would certainly be my preference. Although out of them I think I'd listen to Oliver's original 'Jerk'.

 

At least it looks like Oliver won't be a one-hit wonder (in a chart sense anyway, he's had several big-streaming hits)

Reached a new peak on Spotify today! it doesn't look as though it'll be massive, but Top 75 would be nice.

 

It has certainly grown on me, although I agree with Bre that the harmonica in the 'Z&E's Version" really does lift it.

What a bizarre story! Apparently (according to people on Oliver Tree’s sub), Southstar is very annoyed at the whole situation, accusing Schulz of “stealing” his song. But also that it’s not Oliver’s fault.

 

That being said, the Schulz ‘remaster’ is much better than the original unfortunately.

as it turns out, this 'Miss You' song is a remix of his 2020 song "Jerk" by Southstar, who then sold it to Robin Schulz. so basically both of the credited artists involved had very little to do with the song in its current form. :lol:

 

(and now that I look at the Spotify chart it seems the Southstar version is also new in at #116)

Its an interesting era, Body Paint and Mirrorball both remind me of the 80s band ABC particularly their song 'All of My Heart'.

I quite like him, but he does so many festivals that I’m not sure I’d ever get tickets to one of his own shows.

She's signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation, which is technically an indie label but it's not like it's Cooking Vinyl or anything small lol.
