Something to keep an eye on - Snow Patrol have announced a collab is releasing next week with a TBC artist. Lots of their fans seem to think it's with Kylie.

Not sure if it makes it better or worse, but for a bit of context Becky Hill’s TRNSMT set was a secret set, and she did do Afterflow and Disconnect at the end. Although most of the songs she did weren’t just new, they were unreleased! I saw Rita Ora at the Isle of Wight Festival the other day, and she did 5-6 newer or less well known songs. It was a bit of a mood killer.

It's a country album - so I suspect you may be disappointed if you weren't a fan of The Killers' more Americana-inspired recent albums.

He has his fans though... Garth Brooks is playing Hyde Park this summer, whereas Robbie Williams wouldn't even play arenas in the US. It doesn't help that his music is only available to stream on Amazon Music though! It's killed any sort of relevance with younger country fans.

Interesting to see Mumford & Son's Prizefighter go Silver already - Rushmere was only certified Silver last month, and that's a year older!

Saw Lewis live today - he was great! It's a really high production show, with lots of guitars, saxophone, etc added to most of his songs to make them sound incredible live. He mentioned he'll begin work on his third album after his run of Summer shows. He wants to be back "as soon as possible", so I guess it'll be a 2027 release.

It'l be #2 at worst, but I suspect it'll be #1. They moved the album back a week to avoid Olivia's first, they'll know the pre-order numbers and could've moved it back a little more if needed.

I finally got to see them live last night! Brilliant, absolutely one of the best of their era still around. The new music is just as good as the old stuff too.
