Just been announced! I can see this getting a lot of discussion so will be worth having its own thread.

 

I must say though, it's quite a low-key announcement! I still think we'll get something at the FA Cup final for the 60th. Maybe an announcement of returning Doctors for it?

Ncuti Gatwa (best known for Sex Education), RTD & Bad Wolf Studios have all posted this, heavily suggesting (pretty much confirming) that he'll be joining Doctor Who. It's know know if he'll be The Doctor or a companion, but I must say it's quite a random way to announce it if he's The Doctor!

 

I'm buzzing though because he's fantastic (and very hot...)

I assume it won't actually be used *in* the film but rather it'll be played over the credits, so I'm not sure how much the film's release will help.

Well he is an international superstar by this point!

I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm easily annoyed by some OTT Americans, but I'm not feeling that at all so far :))

 

It's just a shame that it's tricky to discuss it as everyone will be at different points of the 4 episodes.
