It will be a long time for girlband or boyband to be a big again,, there isnt even many trying, I can see mixed bands coming first though.

There are a lot of big Kpop girl/boybands of course, particularly BTS & Blackpink, but I thin it would be hard to replicate their success with a group over here at the moment.

After its year-long absence in 2021, BGT is back next weekend for series 15! I thought last series was a bit of a dud with no studio audience for the live shows, but it seems like we're back to normality once more for the show.

Isn’t this the first time in quite a number of years he looks to be getting a hit as the lead artist?

 

All his recent hits are just him as a feature for other artists. In fact pre him getting those features, he was pretty much unsupported and in a forever flop territory

He was the lead on 'If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)' last year, but yeah that was his first Top 40 as a lead artist since 'Don't Leave Me Alone' in August 2018!

Not only is "C'MON YOU KNOW" out on 27th May, but also the live album 'Down by the River Thames'! There are bundles on his store with both together, but it can also be bought individually. I wonder if Liam can chart at both #1 and #2 with them?

He gets played a lot on R2. And if you’re on about SGU, that was on NOW 110. I’d have put "Long Way Off" on NOW 111

So do a lot of Radio 1 artists, but he primarily has a young fanbase. So I wouldn't put him in with the actual Radio 2-aiming artists like Kylie, Sting, Michael Buble etc.

Unrelated but I've been researching David Burton's claims to have been the 'first' Eighth Doctor in the late 80s... what a bizarre tale!

Bad Wolf's job descriptions state that they're filming a 'returning drama' in Cardiff, beginning on April 25th running until the end of July.

I reckon it's likely that we'll get a 14th Doctor announcement at the end of the Sea Devils episode!
