I’m sure the demographic of NOW albums these days do! Westlife and Kylie Minogue are going to be much bigger draws than Dove Cameron.

Ed’s confirmed that he will release a new album this year... but it will not be ‘Minus’! He’s said that it’s a ‘curveball record’, and the first single is out in 10 days.

He also recently confirmed to an Australian news channel that we can expect ‘Minus’ before his tour reaches Down Under in February 2023. So expect two albums from Ed this year!

News reports over the last few hours are saying a ceasefire agreement is almost done, so hopefully there will be no need

A single wouldn’t be to help stop the war though, it’ll be to help those who have already been harmed by it. Whom will probably need a lot of help for years to come.

ITV have just announced that they will be holding a 2-hour concert in aid of those affected by the war in Ukraine at the moment.

 

The lineup is currently TBA this week.

Good to see it enter high in the Spotify charts yesterday.

And in a minor fashion with Robert Doherty and Keees.’ ‘Pour the Milk’ in 2020 - which just missed out on the Top 40 IIRC.

That Tom’s Diner cover is big on TikTok at the moment. It’s #1 on the UK Spotify viral chart now, so I’d expect it to enter the main top 200 soon!

 

Interestingly, it’s by two German indie rock bands! Though that cover is more mellow than their usual fare.

Plus the last edition featured the rather unwanted sample used by Central Cee (who incidentally doesn’t appear on this volume despite the success of his recent album).

The album did well, but he’s had no real long-lasting hits as a lead artist since ‘Obsessed With You’. Now usually ignores rap outside of the big songs so I’m not surprised that he’s not featured here!
