  1. Here’s Luke’s reasoning for releasing the album through 3 EPs:

”We’re not trying really hard to be Number One. We just felt like a change, and EPs seemed a fun, modern way of doing that: an EP is not too much and not too little. Ironically, this is maybe the most cohesive record we’ve ever made, we’re just releasing it as EPs instead. It’s called ’10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark’ as I like the idea of it being a cassette playlist. That’s an idea that came about from the front covers of old sci-fi novels I’d been reading in the pandemic. So it’s a cassette playlist, but one you can play on Spotify too. I feel like ’10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark’ sounds more like a movie title than an album title too.”
  2. And don’t rule out Jamie webstar should be top 5

Not sure five out today as 2 five band original five or new five

Jamie’s last one sold 6.4K in 2020, and I think he’s a bigger name now so should certainly be solid for at least top 5!

And the members in Five currently are Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon.

  4. The standard vinyl I see it available everywhere

So the red vinyl only sold 200 copies after all this time on pre-orders? thats very little... any artists that I know that releases a limited variant sells outs in 5 nanoseconds...

They said on their Instagram that the standard had sold out, I can’t see it on their own store so I assume that’s what they meant.

And the Red vinyl was limited to 500. They have a big fanbase, sold out arenas etc, doesn’t mean everyone will buy multiple copies though. I suppose we’ll see how they’re doing on Monday!

  5. An early look at some new entries. Nothing massive out this week, so it could well be Ed Sheeran back at #1. Though Don Broco have the physicals out for their album ‘Amazings Things’. I wouldn’t rule them out of topping the charts with a good ol’ fanbase push.
