Emmerdale
I've got a feeling she won't win anything. She hasn't got much chance winning Leading Performer as if she even makes the shortlist the other contenders will have their storylines rammed down throats by the time voting closes while her storyline has finished. As the public don't get a say on Best Villan, It might go to Gray as he is a more conventional villan.

Emmerdale
Thursday more than made up for the 3 trial days which were pretty disappointing apart from the end scene on Tuesday. It should have ended on Thursday although we would have missed out on the end scene on Friday.

Female drought at No. 1?
There were no female No1's between Livin' Joy in May 1995 and Gina G in May 1996.
-
Albums which were saved by subsequent singles?
Moby's Play was saved by the later singles off the album.
-
Hit singles named after the performer
Living In A Box - Living In A Box from the album Living In A Box
-
Hit singles named after the performer
Faith No More could have done that as they released a song called Epic but unfortunately it wasn't on the Epic Label.
-
Albums which were saved by subsequent singles?
I think David Gray's White Ladder came out in 1999 but started to sell more after Babylon came out in 2000. Dido's No Angel also came out before Eminem's Stan which then made the album a big hit.

Flop Followed By Big Hit
Eurythmics - Love Is A Stranger No54 followed by Sweet Dreams No2 No Doubt - Just A Girl No38 followed by Don't Speak No1 Both of those flops made the top ten when re-released after the hit. Also the big 3 long running No1's of the 90s artists had relative flops before Bryan Adams - Victim Of Love No68 (1987) - I Do It For You No1(1991) Wet Wet Wet - Cold Cold Heart No23 - Love Is All Around No1(Both from 1994 but not same album) Whitney Houston - I Belong To You No54(1991) - I Will Always Love You No1 (1992)

Flop Followed By Big Hit
In the #1 followed by flop topic a few people thought it would be intresting to know if it happened the other way round so I have started this topic to find out if it has (They don't have to be from the same album). A few I can think of are Coolio - I Remember made No73 in 1994 then Gangsta's Paradise No1 in 1995. Enrique Iglesias - Rhythm Divine No45 in 1999 then Hero No1 in 2002.
