  1. yeh corolyna is brill!!
  2. I want Candy is not a good indication for the album - none of the other tracks are like this. Thats why its only on there as a bonus track. The other songs are more like the first album 'Northern Star'
  3. I absolutely love this new album - Beautiful Intentions was a bit rocky for me and this new album reminds me of her first album. Some of the songs are really beautiful!!!
  4. I bought the new Melanie C album and am very impressed!! Beautiful Intentions was a bit rocky for me but this new album is quite chilled out and very melodic - it actually reminds me of the first album! People should give her music a chance! Also, its a travesty that 'First Day Of My Life' wasn't released here - it should be on the new album as a bonus track!
  5. what goes around is by far the best song on the album for me and this performance is one of the best live performances i have seen in a long time!! - who agrees?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRaZNygr-II
  6. have u listened to her older albums?? rainbow is a wicked album!! i dont know why she wasnt huge here years ago - she has so much talent!!!
  7. Have u heard 'Try' by Nelly Furtado? It was on her last album and is beautiful and not unlike songs on her latest album. The whole Folklore album is really good and was just overlooked cos it was so different from Whoa Nelly. The same would have happened if she had released 'Loose' after 'Whoa'.
  8. I had always liked Mariah Carey but had never loved her - until she released the Emancipation album and the single 'We Belong Together' I always thought that she went too R&B and neglected the songs that made her massive in the mid 90's. Her last album was a perfect example of how to marry different genres of music and this led me on to buy all her albums and really listen to her music. Most people don't realise that apart from the few covers Mariah has released, all of the other songs have been written by her. This performance is a perfect example of how she gets it right for me - no t*ts out of stupid behaviour, just her and her voice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnehEp4MRYQ
  9. And if you watch the first video, thats what im referring to. She goes really deep when singing the song
  10. Mariah Carey has an amazing range and this video proves how good her lower range is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZPNZIp9Vbk Also see this for a recent live performance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwvMGEZ9YIo
  11. Yeah I thought she sang Hero old school too!

Breathe In is one of the best albums i have heard, i can listen to it all the way thru without skipping a track! Can't wait to hear` the new album and i will make sure that i see her live too!!!
  13. With the demise of TOTP, i thought it would be a good idea for people to post performances from the shows history that were special for them!!! I was a massive Whigfield fan when i was a teenager and i always watched TOTP. Here are my fave performances from her!! Saturday Night - Number 1, 1994 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_kl-9d9y_A&search=whigfield Another Day - Number 7, 1994 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSVj90-Se9o&search=whigfield Think Of You - Number 7, 1995 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKblnmd6iP4 Close To You - Number 13, 1995 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XleuV6ihMRA

I've just bought a 3 cd set called summer holiday hits - absolute cheese but never fails to bring a smile to my face!! Also Nelly Furtado, Whoa Nelly - bargain at £5.97!!!
  15. She was actually a judge on the show for other people craving a pop career. She began to sing her new single at the end of the show and they ran out of time and rolled the credits!!!!!!
  16. Whigfield was no one hit wonder, here are her other hits!! Another Day - No 7 Think Of You - No 7 Close To You - No 13 Big Time/Last Xmas - No 21 Sexy Eyes - No 67 (Import Sales Alone) Her album also went top 15 reaching gold status (100,000 copies) In total she has released five albums with singles released all over Europe from each album. Her last chart hit was in Germany with 'Was A Time' from the last album. She is now concentrating behind the scenes writing songs for people like Benassi Bros, Favretto, Molomodo, Ingrid and Dhany to name a few!
  17. Well here are my favourite twelve tracks in no particular order. Please vote on the link i gave above though please for it to count!!! 1. Saturday Night 2. Another Day 3. Think Of You 4. Sexy Eyes 5. Givin' All My Love 6. Gimme Gimme 7. Lover 8. Was A Time 9. Gotta Getcha 10. Lost In You 11. Doo Whop 12. What We've Done For Love I know most of my choices are singles but there are a couple of album tracks there!!! The biggest travesty was not releasing 'Lover' as the first single for the second album, it would have lead to much more success all over Europe! I think they should re-release 'Sexy Eyes' to promote this new album!!!
  18. Hello everyone!! I've had an email from Whigfield's record company asking all her fans to choose their favourite 12 Whiggy tracks which they will then re-record and re-arrange to be released on a new album!!! Please follow the link and vote!!! http://www.offlimits-forum.com/phpBB2/index.php

Mariah is releasing the last single from the 'Emancipation Of Mimi' album on June 5th! The single was produced by the Neptunes and also features Snoop Dogg. Do you think it will give her another big hit? The video is on heavy rotation on the music TV channels and she should be coming over to promote it hopefully! The remixes are amazing esp the one from David Morales who has worked with Mariah for a long time. Mariah has just announced a huge US tour called 'The Adventures Of Mimi' which starts in July/August and will hopefully come over to Europe in the autumn. She sold out arenas in the UK in 2003 with basically a flop album 'Charmbracelet' so she is bound to be huge this year!!! Check out the video on www.youtube.com

My vote goes to Mariah Carey and 'Can't Take That Away (Mariahs Theme)'. This is an album track from the album 'Rainbow' and in my opinion is her most personal song. The vocals are really heartfelt and powerful. It's a proper belter of a song with no vocal trickery. It's a real fans favourite and she always performs it live in concert. If you can find a performance of your choice on www.youtube.com, please add the link Please check out the link below for a live performance of the song. 21. Yeh it will be a hit as long as she comes over to promote it! The single has been 'c' listed at Radio one so thats good news!!!
  22. Erm has anyone forgot Michael and Janet Jackson??
  23. I'm really impressed with this song and video and should give him a big hit!!!
  24. Yeh, robbie williams - better man - stunning!!
