Well you could say the non-streaming hits were sales only hits. Some of those were at least No.1 (or close enough) on itunes. I think it's could they include those artists which don't get the streams to make the Official Top 40 (or even Top 100). It's a good mix of official chart and non-streaming hits. And some of those non-streaming acts are no stranger to numbered NOW albums so it's good to see them increase the number of NOWs they appear on.

Apparently so i only ever had the cassette version, never knew about the differences between the two before.

That's a pretty good list and i agree it's a good idea although they still wouldn't have access to some artists like Madonna even if it did happen. Still shocking when you think what tracks missed being on a NOW, i had forgotten The Killers missed it, don't think that track even made the Hits series either.
