  1. Bloody hell that's a shocker. I have that song on my iPod RIP
  2. The death of the pope (sooner and most painfully the better) will make no difference as another stone age bigot will take over and enforce the same old $h!t and backward "values" on the flock so catholicism should be treated as a backward religion and as a pariah until it gets its house in order and preaches values fitting with a civilised society
  3. I am against the vatican and the principles of the catholic church full stop, it is a religion that belongs in the stone ages, no place for it in a tolerant society that we should be. This pope is particularly vile as he was personally responsible for covering up abuse, intimidating and bribing abuse victims and obstructing justice but I still hate the catholic church and what it stands for with its stone age views towards women, homosexuals and contraception
  4. The vatican and nazis go together like Morecambe and Wise and roast beef and yorkshire pudding, long history of collusion with nazis by the catholic church, forced conversions to catholicism in Yugoslavia, giving nazi war criminals protection in the vatican and spiriting them away to latin america, colluding with Croatian nazis to commit genocide, the catholic church head cardinal in the region ran a concentration camp, the pope is a fukkin idiot
  5. He really does deserve a bullet in him and his carcass left rotting in the street for dogs to eat
  6. Nothing can be added to that article Chris you should post that on DS and show that fukkin idiot what the real "sweet old man" is like
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_cler...the_Usta%C5%A1e Charming people the catholic church leaders are  Yes it is only Wiki but I have read similar in authorative books
  8. Mistakes ?:rofl: Blackmail and intimidation of child abuse victims Hundreds of thousands of deaths in Africa Colluding with fascist and nazi organisations Covering up child abuse Bigotry against homosexuals Leading an organisation that helped nazis escape justice Being part of the Hitler youth Some mistakes
  9. I used to read military history years ago and I remember vividly reading about the fact that the vatican backed Ustashe in Croatia stole massive amounts of gold (converted to gold via the property of those they looted from) and this gold was given to the Vatican for "safe keeping" The vatican were in collusion with the nazis, the Ustache killed some 750,000 people and were backed heavily by the Vatican and Franciscan monks. Pavelic even received a papal blessing when he was dying so the catholic church and the Vatican certainly have a lot of blood on their hands
  10. It is 100% the same thing It is allowing schools to discriminate on the basis of religion, a form of religious apartheid so IMHO it is no different to discriminating on the basis of colour.
  11. Great sig ^_^ The sig makes should also include racism, attitudes to women, AIDS, theft of gold onto the list
  12. I am not deluding myself into thinking everything in the garden is rosy, it is inevitable that there will be difficulties ahead both on the High St and in everyday business, it is inevitable but the media continually talking Britain down will just scare people more and more and make them stop spending which is totally unhelpful
  13. If it was down to the case of the rise in VAT in January retail sales would be going UP as people make big purchases before the VAT hike comes in I still think it was due to millions being away in August and the $h!t weather but I will revise my opinion there if sales are still falling in November
  14. I am not convinced unless a pattern forms over a period of months, why would people be confident to spend in July when sales rose but not in August ? spending cuts and VAT rise have been known about since May
  15. True but the weather turning bad compared with a glorious July and the fact that August is the traditional foreign getaway month are both major factors I reckon
  16. It was natural that sales were going to fall in August compared with July In August the world cup was over so the explosion in sales of beer and BBQ equipment and plasma tv's was over then there is the fact that millions go on holiday abroad in August so if they are in Spain or Florida or whatever they are not here to spend, then the weather in August was hideous, wet/cold/dull, that will have resulted in less BBQ stuff being bought, less summer clothing being bought, less ice cream etc To just pin it on the economy is very simplistic IMHO
  17. Good on Dave not having anything to do with this freakshow
  18. Britain is a secular society, there should be no state funded religion and taxpayers money being spent to have the pope over to spread his bigotry goes against the very concept of a secular society. In terms of the Vatican I wasn't aware it is classed as a country, I stand corrected though
  19. I gather Cameron wasn't there to meet him, sent Clegg instead (I have no access to a tv atm) so hopefully Cameron has snubbed him and wants nothing to do with this reptile
  20. He isn't a head of state, he is a religious leader Would the taxpayer foot the bill for the Dalai Lama to come here and preach ? doubt it
  21. Difference being the US president is a head of state, the pope is not a head of state
  22. Disgusting, the catholic church is one of the richest organisations in the world, helped in part to the theft of jewish gold, it should be paying the bill for this visit not the taxpayer
  23. Agree about the foreign aid bit for sure, it should be scrapped except in some exceptional circumstances (linked to trade deals or contracts for UK businesses) I would rather money was spent keeping our pensioners warm in winter than spent on helping to bail out corrupt dictatorships
  24. I hope he gets arrested or even better shot dead so let's just agree to disagree on this one !
  25. PR stunt and nothing more As the vatican's chief enforcer before he became pope he was in charge of covering up abuse and on top of that he threatened, blackmailed, bribed victims of abuse so that priests could stay in the job and carry on abusing. The pope saying he is shocked and saddened by abuse when he was in charge of intimidating and paying off victims of abuse makes him even more vile
