  1. I wonder what the answers of "mainstream Britain" would be to the question "who will replace the rich/big businesses/bankers when they have all left the country to go to nations with lower tax"
  2. Loved Call Me  but yeah gotta say I am impressed with Diana as a solo artist, but she is credible even though she was "different" Cher doing an album of ghetto music and gangsta rap and so on would be as credible as Justin Bieber singing death metal
  3. Just seen nothing special in her in this series at all tbh, she is "different" and "fresh" but so was Diana Vickers but difference being Diana gave 2 of the best performances I have ever seen in X Factor (Man In The Mirror / Call Me) so she had the talent and vocals to back up her different style but I just don't see it in Cher Maybe she will convince me in the end but I have seen nothing so far other than just another white girl that thinks she is black, time will tell
  4. She sung both ghetto style, that is what I meant, she is a one trick pony in the sense that she tries to be all gangsta whatever she sings, embarrassing for a middle class white girl
  5. Yeah he did sing way better than Olly tbh, one of the better performances of the night
  6. I still predict that Cher will go down with an unfortunate throat infection at some point that makes her miss an episode in the series, probably a week where she would have been an absolute train wreck vocally ;)
  7. Olly II was alright at the end, better than Olly but just the same Essex accent, hat, cheeky chappy attitude made him come across as an Olly clone, I don't understand him trying to get sympathy over a "girls song" though, to the best of my knowledge both Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson have covered it. Chloe was hideous with Wishing On A Star but good with If I Was A Boy
  8. As well as having a wanabee gangsta on tonight we also have a wanabee Olly Murs
  9. Yuli  best performance of the night
  10. She is different but she is not credible as a white person trying to be a rapper/r+b artist, she was way aggressive with her singing tonight, can just imagine her singing songs about knife crime and cop killing when infact she has never left her suburban Malvern home till X Factor and just has a white middle class upringing, she is as ghetto as David Cameron is. She needs to move away from all this wanabee gangsta stuff
  11. Chloe :( this is hideously out of tune
  12. LOL agree there, she isn't that bad at singing although wouldn't say she is in the same ballpark as katie or Treyc or Mary or anyone but she isn't a bad singer as such but that rap was car crash tv She needs to up her game though, she seems to have some identity crisis, thinks she is black
  13. More R+B wigga stuff, she is coming across as a one trick pony tbh, really has to move out of her comfort zone if she is to win the series, won't be able to sing R+B every week, she is good at R+B but I can't stand the genre
  14. Chloe was surprisingly good, a lot of power to her voice there Wasn't impressed with Cher at all I have no inside info as to whether she gets through or not tbh
  15. Cher was hideously out of tune doing a power song, how she is favourite god only knows
  16. I clearly have way higher standards than the Labour party who have a leader imposed on them that the members and MP's didn't want
  17. Ed's victory is tbh as legitimate as Mugabe's in Zimbabwe, here we have the union brothers effectively blackmailing their members into voting for Ed in one case and using heavy influence in the other case Robert Mugabe would be proud http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-11316855 But his real coup was to secure the backing of three of the four Britain's biggest trade unions - GMB, Unison and Unite. The latter was a bitter blow to his former Treasury colleague and leadership rival Ed Balls, who had been banking on Unite's support. Unite was even accused of breaking the rules of the contest by including a leaflet pledging its support for Ed Miliband along with the ballot papers for the contest it sent to its 950,000 members eligible to vote. "He understands the Labour Party needs to change and he is the best candidate to reconnect Labour with the concerns of ordinary working people," Derek Simpson and Tony Woodley, Unite's joint general secretaries, say in the leaflet. GMB leader Paul Kenny threatened to withdraw funding from the Labour Party if Ed Miliband did not win, amid talk of a union plot to prevent David Miliband, seen as the more Blairite of the two, and therefore committed to public service reform, from taking the leadership.
  18. I want to see Harry succeed at Spurs but he seems incapable of motivating the team for any games other than against the really big teams We struggle against the likes of Wolves, Stoke, West Brom, Wigan, West Ham, no doubt Blackpool will beat us, Harry just can't seem to motivate the team unless they are playing top opposition
  19. I want to see a Tory victory by any legal means necessary, I do not approve of fraud or vote rigging or anything but all the things you listed (press demonisation of Labour, Lord Ashcroft etc) are totally legal and no different to what goes on in any other country
  20. Don't be so sure, at his age would he need the hassle of Italy or Spain again ? especially the latter where if you lose 2 games in a row you seem to lose your job plus he knows Spurs players well and is reported to be friends with Levy so it is not as unlikely as it seems
  21. The media will attack and attack and attack labour and show pictures of Scargill and the other union barons from the past and imprint on peoples minds that the unions are back in charge of the Labour party, it will be a drip drip effect and labour will pay the price heavily at the next election
  22. He won't though It is back to the old days of the dinosaur union barons calling the shots at Labour and the media being reunited with their bogeymen to attack For sure the next election has been won by Cameron now I can also see many members leaving Labour as they feel they are ignored and not listened to Just hope no chandaliers crash to the ground at Downing St tonight after being hit by champagne corks
  23. Yeah but suppose the RMT escalate their strike action or the GMB down tools or Unite cause national chaos how will Ed be able to condemn them ? when services have ground to a halt and the country is baying for the blood of the unions Ed will have his hands tied as he will be unable to bite the hand that feeds This has handed power back to the tories for a generation
  24. Straight swap with Capello ? Harry for England and Fab for Spurs ? Capello has a great track record at club level
  25. It is true, labour party members wanted David as leader but instead they have Ed forced on them by the likes of Bob Crow Blair used to use "Thing's Will Only Get Better" as a theme, Ed will be best using "Puppet On A String" as that is what he will be for the unions
