  1. Labour, the party that ignores the wishes of its members and is in the pocket of the unions :)
  2. Every time we play a small team we get the same old result, once or twice is unfortunate but it happens all the time when it comes to Harry, Harry is great if we are playing a top 6 team, stick him in against a crap team then that crap team suddenly becomes Brazil
  3. Again we lose to a bunny team Ridiculous, shows how clueless that Harry is when it comes to tactics, really is time for him to go
  4. Ed only won thanks to the unions David got the most of the members and the mp's but the unions won it for Ed The media are gonna love that come election time
  5. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1BpyQl89uPs/TFi98NqSlyI/AAAAAAAABPA/3WuhcFeMP88/s1600/warrior-forum-moderator1.jpeg Reminds me of David Miliband
  6. Yeah but the perception rightly or wrongly of the Lib Dems is that of a "wasted vote", am not saying it is a fair perception but people I asked at election time who I mix with within work most said that lib dems was a wasted vote
  7. Exactly which is why Ashcroft targeted the marginals in the last election, where I live if Osama Bin Laden stood as the conservative candidate he would get in with a 15,000+ majority, people with moderate views make no difference in my area but there are millions of people in this country who don't know who they are going to vote for till polling day and they are to me the centrists, those with views that neither fit in with the tories or labour but have to vote for one or the other
  8. I know a number of people who are on much much more than that but still vote/voted labour, I would say far more people are right wing on things like immigration than they are the economy The estimated 6m floating voters are what decide elections tbh, I would vote for a chimp if it had a blue rosette likewise you would if it had a red one but we are the hardcores, most people don't give a stuff about politics and it is them that decide elections
  9. I am not talking finances or class I am talking about people with moderate political views be it a dustman or a dentist, makes no difference, what I mean by centrist is people with moderate political views that are neither left wing or right wing regardless of class or income
  10. Ed is a better communicator than Dave so he will get his message across better, I just think that most people will think the message he is getting across is complete bollocks ;) Plus he does appear to be in the pocket of the unions, I can just see the Daily Mail at next election using scare stories of links to Bob Crow for example
  11. Tax cuts ahead   http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...-class-tax.html
  12. Ben should be a lot higher, shame he never connected with the public
  13. Yeah I don't think he is a Ken Livingstone or a Tony Benn, he definitely reminds me of a more geeky version of Kinnock but I just don't see him connecting with the public, Benn much as I am the polar opposite of his views is one of the great political minds of all time and a man of great charisma and Milliband wouldn't be fit to tie his shoelaces.
  14. People have moved on from the hard right wing days of Thatcher and to a lesser extent Major, elections are won and lost in the centrist population, Labour go back to its old left wing roots like Ed Milliband seems to want to take them it will not engage the public who by and large are centrist now Britain has changed, a hard right party would not win an election nor would a hard left one David was Labour's best chance of winning in 2015
  15. Great news, for the Conservative party, I can hear the champagne corks popping at Conservative HQ even now metaphorically speaking Ed will be another Neil Kinnock, galvanise the core Labour voters and the unions and scare off middle England when Blair recognised you need middle England on board to win elections Ed will merely preach to the converted not bring in new converts
  16. BEST movie of the year by far for me, maybe for several years Muslim plants dirty bombs in 3 cities, is arrested, Samuel L Jackson a CIA operative is in charge of extracting the locations of the bombs by all means necessary which he sure does, does the most brutal, unspeakable things to the guy and to his wife and kids in a bid to make him crack and reveal the location of the bombs Samuel L Jackson gives one of the most psychopathic but brilliant performances I have ever seen and it really gets people thinking how far one should go to save lives, some of the things Jackson does are grotesque but what a film :o Anyone seen it and agree ? if not then definitely get it
  17. Unthinkable, been watching it tonight, best film I have seen this year easily Samuel L Jackson movie, not for the squeamish
  18. Oh I agree With her racehorses, priceless works of art, girfts from heads of state, palaces etc she must be down to her last £500m :( how does she cope :o How dare a pesky hospital take heating money away from a near billionaire, shameful
