And number 9 in Numayania! Though tbh I have no idea if I was publishing my chart at the time. I... didn't. Not bad though :D I've literally just started getting into Aya Nakamura, it's in a similar ballpark. The bit where essentially-Jane-Fonda corrects her French is funny. I relate

I’d be so up for this  Probably got the perfect song for it, depending on the theme.

Tbh I’m worried mine will be the one where people are like “how was that not vetoed?” or at least you will be, since it’s French

I am *this* close to sending a different song by the same artist I’ve already confirmed, it’s more commercial but I think it would stand out less

Bethduck is cool. Also I just confirmed Shallou.

Hey there, here’s the official Numayanagasque review from the BJSC preview show :funky: You So Done (WOW :o Memorable video, slightly less memorable song, but slightly reminds me of an American (?) Christine and the Queens which is no bad thing :D ) I Dance In The Kitchen (OMG STOP TALKING  When it gets going it’s pretty cute, I think the intro might put people off though, I thought you’d posted an interview by accident for a minute. Also don’t forget that the word “kitchen is filtered on here, so if you’re not careful you’ll be sending a song called I Dance In The iamspamspamami :kink: ) Canguro (catchy as hell! I love Italian pop but good Italian pop is hard to find at least outside of Eurovision/San Remo season. The lyrics are great, and the production. The fact that he’s adorable doesn’t harm either  ) So personally for me, Canguro but I think You So Done might have more hit potential...

Woo, welcome back :cheer:

Geil  Kinda reminds me of Cassandra Steen - Stadt, minus the big chorus.

I’m on board with the former :D Tbh I have something similar but I’m too scared be vetoed to actually send it :(

Tempted to ignore all of that and go Japanese now though, what do you all think of this? s2lrXYmpi7w

Thanks Leww  Wow, Catch Fire is really good. I think the main reason it’s gone unnoticed as yet is Mdiče don’t enter anymore :snif: But it’s definitely worth thinking about. I wouldn’t blame you for sending it  I think I feel like going French this time though. but we’ll see. Funny thing is I think HH reads as queer as Bilal, or at least LGBTQ  Exactly why I value your opinion, we’re the same in that  Thank you so much. I don’t think I’ll be needing Shallou after all, but they’re a band I’ll be looking into going forward :D

Sorr,I got what it was doing, it just wasn’t my thing. That sounds good though

Am I the only one who read Lee’s response to H as a bit homophobic? Then again H’s was kind of misogynistic so I guess they’re even.

Changed, have a feeling it might be vetoed though so I’d better get finding a backup...

Ooh German pop  (except Nachbarn) Would be happy to help if you wanted to share :D

Roger Sanchez, daaaaamn :o

Welcome back! :D :cheer: This month's semis are going to be a bloodbath aren't they?

Niouvs Dela Numayanie After a disappointing 37th finish with Regulus Red in Aeroche, Numayania is back to the drawing board for 128 in Terra Avium and Republique D'Askorza, and wondering which Block we should join  The indie block? op7WSVoPhyk The French block? mxNE1z6VXug The French indie block? a_oc4ADciCg The retro block? G7d3W8VNx10 The French retro block? ccyN1FGLQ9U Or fuck all of that and go old-school Scandipop Numayania? 4P_f-4p6ctw fWmiAGJHMag Guest juries from around Buzzjack world, please provide your knowledgeable opinions on what you want to see from us in this months' contest! Sanq-te!

Wow you proper Beyonced that! Confirmed, but really just to have something confirmed, I will almost definitely change.

The votes of the Numayanagasque guest jury: 18 Fading (yes I’m a pop whore, but this is exactly my kind of pop, synthy, nostalgic melody with a little dark edge  if you don’t want it I’m having it :kink: ) 15 You Think I’m Horny (amazing vocals :D Great synths too. Feels very you but accessible too, though I didn’t expect the polyrhythmic drum n bass break  ) 13 Bracer (“take my sin and shove it into yours” is a very Eledanian phrase somehow, kinda wish there was a part one and two and you just sent part 2) 12 Kokoko (reminds me weirdly of a Red Hot Chilli Peppers song I cant remember the name of. Not as good as their/your TBO entry but good. Is Kokoko literally the chicken noise in Russian btw?) 11 Run With The Devil (cool, but tbh long video intros kind of piss me off :( Just as well he’s cute  Song is catchy but no great shakes, somehow reminds me of the Cramps, though I think I’ve only ever heard one song of theirs. Incidentally do you recognise the Slavic disco song at 3:50? I’d vote for that  ) 10 Faiseurs des mondes (ehh, not really my thing. Black Metal in french is a mood though, and I’m thinking of going french this month, albeit in a totally different way  ) Hope that helps!

Got tickets for London, they’re up in the fucking GODS but it’s worth it to be there :D Wonder what their super random cover will be this time? Loved Despacito, it was great to hear them sing in Spanish. If it’s anything that’s been released yet, I’m guessing Blinding Lights, which actually would fit them much better...

Try 56 to 126 :kink: Though tbf I didn’t enter every time. Ironically I think my DNQ streak was much closer to my real musical taste than my hits, but never mind, seems like Bizzjack World has caught up now :P
