Can I still vote? :kink:

Woo  Someone should send that to BJSC. Or maybe The Creativity Song

YAAAASSSS Addy, one of my ultimate summer jams. I really need to go through my 90s playlists and see if I’ve got anything that will work here. In fact I’m thinking of bringing one of my 90s heroes next contest, it’s just working out the right song  One thing, dunno where you got those lyrics, apols if you transcribed them yourself, but the chorus is actually in Brazilian Portuguese and goes “bate bate tambor, eu quero tic e tic e tic e tac” #themoreyouknow :kink:

Hehe, thought it might be up your street :D Weirdly I was about to post in your thread, let me get on that

Apart from Just Can’t Rely On You :kink:

I just want to make another final

Where am I going to get my Russian darkwave bangers now :snif: Incidentally I’m very close to changing to the reason I came back to the contest in the first place, but given it’s an almost guaranteed flop, idk

OMG a new no. 1 by an artist who’s already been no. 1 for 3/5 of the year :kink:

BUT it’s the fans are doing it. Yes it’s crazy, but it’s not chart rigging either, because the people paying are the fans not the record company. Personally I’m all for it, it’s a long time since the UK chart meant this much to anyone, even if the song is pretty mediocre.

Forgot I couldn’t delete messages oops lol

Confirmed, mind over heart right now, but I’ve got to maintain my qualification streak of one :kink: If you change your mind I need to hear that ASAP

Feel bad about not giving Games For Girls more but given I didn’t know the majority of these songs, I basically treated it like a regular BJSC and prioritised discoveries :/ Hence Dobago and to a certain extent FARC (not that they need it :kink: ) Rontvia I just didn’t like very much

No worries, proper choon

Oh yes :D

Thank you :D I have one more potential, but it's a French language ballad, I think it would be hard sell right now, especially when I want to keep up my qualification streak (of one :kink:)

LOVE Bolshiee's voice and the gliss is gorgeous as you say  Diandra is very nice though and I love a bit of scandipop, Finnish in particular. Hope she didn't hit her head too hard though :kink: So personally for me, Diandra, but Bolshiee may be more accessible

Weirdest thing is Leww, I was convinced for about half an hour I stole it off you. The title of the song appears in your country thread, but I can't find where, and I thought I might have been introduced to it here, but then I realised I've barely used BJ since 2018

News from Numayania is that the internal selectionis down to two candidates: ALEX Feat. RA - Broadway NeX4X2UX9M4 or Regulus Red - All For Himself vZzeWc4kwvc

Urgh, brand new(-ish) Italian LGBTQ electropop with <20k Youtube views, or 2018 vintage femme-fronted darkwave?

Voted :D LOVE the new format, and the increased likelihood of actually being in this next year :D

Sorry guys, I entirely missed this but thank you for all the points  And great hosting Frank. Astonished to do so much better in my UP comeback than BJSC, maybe the name recognition counts against me :kink: Fantastic winner Cody, I look forward to your future UP and BJSC entries :D

Try 40 :kink: But thinking I’ll be staying synthy. And possibly retro

Me too, probably going to be the only person giving points to some, and my 20 will probably still be bottom half but there we go.

Mik Artistik’s ‘comedy’ content is dubious, but if you ever wanted to know what Daniel Johnston would sound like if he came from Barnsley there you are.
