Considering rap doesn't do very well on downloads, I'm surprised to see X's music get this big of a resurgence

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [III]
X will see a big resurgence on Spotify, but sadly I'll be surprised if any of his music re-enters Top 40
-
Xxxtentacion
X was shot, he was taken to hospital but died shortly after. 20 is no age at all

Xxxtentacion
Oh my god. It was only recently that I'd got into his music, didn't really pay attention after a bad first impression from Look At Me last year, but listened to 17 and ? quite a few times now over the past few months. I knew that he'd definitely been living a somewhat dangerous life with what happened on tour, but I can't believe he's just gone like that. RIP :(

Who will be the next #1?
It will probably be Clean Demi, but it would be a nice surprise if Better Now made it just on streams. It's definitely my favourite out of all those, Solo and Shotgun are okay but not that good, and Leave A Light On is just crap

Rudimental & Major Lazer - Let Me Live
Didn't hear a "Zaga Dat". Don't think he is tbh
-
Sigala - Feels Like Home
Damn, it's not the Kylie collab :( Sounds like a big summer track for sure though, can't say I wasn't expecting Sean Paul on one of Sigala's songs, and will probably be Fuse ODG's first hit in a while!

Just when I thought this was possibly out of the running for #1 <_<

Alice Merton - No Roots
Fair one  I think most on here like it so just wanting to make it clear that I don't!
-
Alice Merton - No Roots
No Roots isn't bad, I just find it a bit dull to be honest. It would be great to have more indie stuff in the charts, but No Roots was something I knew would flop, even with radio and some Spotify support. Lash Out is much better though

Alice Merton - No Roots
The difference is though, Feel It Still is actually good
-
Rudimental & Major Lazer - Let Me Live
I really do hope this is good, I loved Rudimental when they first popped up in the charts with Feel The Love and Waiting All Night, but over the years they've sadly gone quite MOR for me.

Big Shaq - Man Don't Dance
qQn6TsbYrH8 Video out. This obviously won't help it that much though, it's already flopped. Did it even spend 1 week in Top 100?

He clearly isn't, considering No Roots flopped

Could it actually go to #1 this week if it keeps gaining? Definitely has the streaming advantage on Jess

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [III]
Not sure if any of them could make it considering we've got new Drake, Little Mix, and NHS Choir over the coming weeks!

Shotgun isn't my favourite, but worst song of the year is a bit bloody harsh

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [III]
Oh Spotify. Only adding Alice to Hot Hits after it's already flopped

Who will be the next #1?
Mainly because it was a promo single and more downbeat than his last two, so it obviously wasn't going to do as well.
-
Who will be the next #1?
It'll be Jess probably, no problem with that at all. The yodelling is a bit annoying, but I'll Be There is a bop. Sadly, 2002 is more of a worthy contender than I'd like to think, with it doing very well on both streaming and downloads- Christ, if that song does end up going #1  Drake's obviously going to have song of the summer with his album, Scorpion, releasing this month, it's just a matter of if Nice For What will go back to #1 or another song is pushed. NFW could also potentially be on ACR by that point, and not forgetting Ariana's single with him and Nicki, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Then going ahead even further NHS Choir are releasing their charity single at start of July, they will do outstandingly well on downloads but nothing compared to Drake on streams I think.

NHS 70th anniversary charity single
I'm Upset hasn't been given a proper push, and sounds like an album track anyway. Considering the fact that Nice For What is still doing extremely well on streams, and that it will get a massive boost from album streams when Scorpion is released, it's very likely it will go to #1 again. I won't be surprised at if all 3 tracks that are eligible to chart end up in the Top 5.

NHS 70th anniversary charity single
I am 100% certain that Drake will block them from going to #1 (his album will be massive) and piss a lot of people off in the process
