  1. Slight difference, Sugar is a charismatic man Brown is the country's greatest cure for insomnia
  2. There is no substitute for LIFE EXPERIENCE, that doesn't just apply to driving it applies to EVERYTHING I left school at 16 with 3 o'levels and 7 CSE's, never went to uni but look at the BUzzjack Daily Quiz for the last 18 months and you will see that I have never been out of the Top 3 with the exception of 1 month so even though I was not a uni graduate or have a load of letters against my name I am still a lot more knowledgeable in terms of general knowledge and the ways of the world than the majority of people who are, why ? because I have gathered all this information in my head over the years and it comes through life experience not text books, why do I constantly kick the asses of young graduates and 6th formers and so on on the BJ Quiz ? because I am older and wiser that is why regardless of how many textbooks they read and the same applies to driving, I would say I am a better driver than 99% of people on this board who are of driving age and above, that sound arrogant ? you betcha but it is right
  3. Tests are the driving equivalent of performing seals jumping through hoops and are not a reflection of driver ability, drivers are trained purely to get through tests it is not a reflection of the ability of a driver I am lucky enough to own an Impreza, I pay £432 a year for it at aged 42 (protected no claims bonus, my insurance would probably be even lower if I didnt have 6 points on my licence) yet an 18 year old wanting to drive an Impreza would end up paying £3500-4000 a year insurance if he could find an insurance company to insure him for the Impreza in the first place, how do you explain the anomoly in price differences ? Statistics show a young guy is 10 times more likely to die than me on the road, insurance companies clobber young lads in fast cars financially yet give my age group an easy ride, why ? because insurance companies deem me to be a better risk than some chav in a hot hatch I love speed, I love putting my car through its paces but I would only put the car through its paces on roads that I knew every inch of tarmac on and awareness of what happens on those roads, I frequently do 85-90 in a country lane near me but I know that lane like the back of my hand and know what I am likely to encounter on it, a chav does not have that experience he just turns up his rave music and floors the pedal regardless of whether it is safe to do so
  4. You can huff and puff all you like champ but the STATISTICS back up my point Read the article that started this thread, for your benefit I will quote you a piece of it Men aged 17 to 20 are almost ten times more likely to be killed or seriously injured than men aged 40 to 59 Now you can dress it up how you like but the fact is that someone that age is TEN times more likely to be killed than someone MY age, does that make me a better driver than a young driver ? YES If the test is so hard compared with when I took my test (I am 42) how do you explain the fact that a 17 year old is TEN times more likely to be killed on the road than me ?
  5. I forgot all about this lol not been in there for months :o :o 9th am pleased with given my lack of effort ;) Will try harder next season
  6. Bought up to the top for Scott and Jake ;) What is the difference between this comment and my call for the sterilisation of Palestinians, a terrorist state run by Hamas a terrorist organisation committed to the destruction of a country close to my heart I would welcome your comments Scott and Jake :) Why am I a fascist and a neo con when I suggest the same action against terrorists who want to destruct the nation of my "race" yet it is ok to suggest the same against chavs Mandatory abortions too, hmmmm sounds like something Hitler would advocate People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
  7. We agreed a fee with Athletico last January (2007) of over £20m but he wanted £90k a week to join us so we said thanks but no thanks
  8. Agree with them, I would add : Elano Jonathan Woodgate - Been an absolute bloody rock for us ^_^
  9. Our occupation of Iraq killed over 20,000 Iraqis in ONE NIGHT in "shock and awe", our occupation of Iraq was illegal and against the UN mandate, Abu Ghirab prison atrocities were the most despicable behaviour I have seen from a military in my lifetime, Britain also has big curbs on freedom of speech where dissenters like the heckler of Jack Straw were arrested under the prevention of terrorism act, where protests and demonstrations have been banned in Parliament Square, where anti war campaigners who were peacefully demonstrating were attacked by police, where we have the least amount of privacy in the western world Do you think there should be a boycott of the British games ?
  10. No offence Josh but you are putting your own wallet ahead of road safety and fatalities While it is not your fault the fact is that your age group are responsible for the majority of deaths and serious injuries on the road and significant numbers of your age group are dangers to themselves and more importantly other road users, while you can't help when you are born you just have to accept that your fellow generation cause most problems on the road and that all your generation are going to get tarred with the same brush by insurance companies and motoring organisations Fair on you that you have to pay more ? no, you are not a boy racing chav I hope but blame your generation mate not the people that want to clamp down on them :)
  11. Huddlestone  The guy has been an embarrassment for us this season he should be nowhere near the England squad

Never liked Small Faces much at all tbh Loved Humble Pie though and have a fair bit of Humble Pie material so Marriott had talent for sure but Rod Stewart gave Faces that meatier edge to them music wise, Live At Filmore that Marriott did with Humble Pie is by far his best work
  13. I am a realist, kids are going to hear 10 times worse than that on school playgrounds, also Jonathan Ross is known for a very adult sense of humour so people know what to expect out of his shows, he is not Michael Parkinson his style is notoriously vulgar so I think people who are easily offended should not watch Jonathan Ross I don't think there should be sex on tv or extreme violence until late at night but swearing goes on all the time in real life at work and in schools and in the home so I can't believe anyone is going to be corrupted language wise by anything they see on tv
  14. No one should be allowed to use the NHS unless they have paid into the system, the parents in the case of kids Anyone else should have to pay for NHS treatment Sick of foreign spongers and freeloaders

Rod easily Love stuff like Stay With Me, Maybe I'm Amazed, Pool Hall Richard, Too Bad and so on whereas I can think of 2 Marriott ones I like Rod gets my vote
  16. Eto'o has got 14 in 16 this season in La Liga and 20 in 24 in all competitions, if that is a has been then that is impressive stats for a has been lol, Berbatov is good but he has the same number of goals as Robbie Keane so Berbs can be replaced and Keane and Eto'o would be a formidable partnership Man Utd and Chelsea are untouchable so if Utd get stronger then it wont affect us Utd still owe the payments for Tevez (£21m unpaid) so can they afford Berbs ? hmmmmmmm
  17. Disagree Josh We came within 1 dodgy lasagne of being 4th 2 years ago so it can be achieved, we were ahead of Scum right until the final game of the season when Lasagnegate took place, the top 4 can be breached With the capture of Modric and the seemingly imminent arrivel of Samuel Eto'o there is no reason why we can't be hot on Liverpool's heels next season
  18. I was playing devils advocate as opposed to anything else, ok maybe not even that but "virtual mayor" with a virtual task of clearing up London and improving its image to the world and to its residents and what I said about a zero tolerance policy in red light districts would 100% improve London's image regardless of any personal conflict of interest given I have procured sexual services in the past although not through street services If I was elected Mayor the things I have listed today are the things I would do to make London a cleaner and safer place
  19. I still don't see a conflict of interest as I never ever have nor ever will procure the services of the people that I mentioned in my original post, professional escort agencies are not a problem on London's streets, kerb crawlers and street corner vice girls are, its not about me its about London and London's image, it is very bad for London's image to see vice girls in the street touting for business it is bad for London's image to see phone booths filled with "business cards", professional escort agencies whether they are moral or not are not a "blot on the landscape" for London or offputting for tourists, street corner vice girls are
  20. Wrong in a way Scott, I used escort agencies who offered "additional services" big difference from red light district stuff, same services but a totally different discreet thing, I never kerb crawled I never used the services of one on the streets in a vice district or out of a London phone booth it was highly professional structure, big difference
  21. It is impossible to clean up London without ridding the city of beggars, homeless, prostitutes in red light districts and squeegy merchants cleaning cars at traffic lights and demanding money, I consider those people to be a far bigger problem than people having a can of beer on a tube train, I have done that dozens of times and don't think someone drinking on a train is a big problem if they are not committing crimes
  22. We have been out of power 11 years now Labour have had more than enough time to reverse any policies that we introduced so stuff that happened over 11 years ago bears no relevance as the current homeless on the streets Labour have had more than enough time to reverse stuff like Care In The Community so it is a Labour issue not a tory one A good offline friend of mine (5 months pregnant) walked from Tottenham Court Road to Euston a few weeks back late at night and she was literally shaking when she phoned me off the train at Euston because she had been harassed along that walk by homeless people making crude sexual comments and demanding money A pregnant woman being intimidated and harassed by druggie homeless is not acceptable in a modern day society so even if there are a few genuine cases who are fleeing abuse the fact is that there are far too many, vast majority infact , that are causing problems for the situation to be accepted so locking the whole bloody lot of them up would be far safer for the people of London I dont think it is fascist at all i think that it is a common sense measure to make London safer and to improve its image to tourists, I am hardly talking about Brazillian death squads here lol purely taking a problem sector of society out of circulation to enable the streets of London to be safer I am far more interested in the safety and welfare of pregnant women walking the streets of London than I am the 5% of homeless with genuine sob stories, nothing has changed my position that they should be taken off the streets and put in detention camps or prisons where they can also get treatment and help for their problems, its not fascist at all
  23. It would be workable if the courts do their job, if assaulting a public transport worker resulted in automatic PRISON upon conviction then that would help matters but thats a central government / judiciary thing but if Boris got commitments from them that harming a tube or bus worker is automatic jail then this could be enforced There needs to be a lot of prisons built in this country, 30 or 40 new prisons need to be built, we have disused oil rigs, old military bases, retired ships could be converted into prisons. Provided penalties were toughened up then these workers you go on about would work safer but thats up to Brown not Johnson Another thing that needs addressing is the homeless on the streets, as well as being a bloody eyesore they are also a massive source of crime, intimidation and so on on the streets, I would make it a criminal offence to be homeless on the streets of London as homeless druggies and winos and lets face it 99% of them are are a massive cause of crime in London, they are also an eyesore for tourists too, if I went somewhere to another country and had druggies shouting at me from shop doorways my image of the country would be very bad and I wouldnt want to go there again Locking up the homeless druggies should be Johnson's top priority ahead of pissheads on the tube, those establishments I listed above would be perfect place to lock them up
  24. As far as I know Boris wants to have a police officer on every underground train, whether that is practical or affordable is a different matter but as far as I recall he wants an officer on every train It is also my understanding that he has had consultations with Rudy Giuliani who transformed New York with a zero tolerance policy towards petty crime and serious crime so if Boris achieves even half as much as Giuliani London will be a lot better place to live
  25. I never said I agree with the policy, its nice in theory but will be impossible to enforce in practice but it shows that he is determined to do something about anti social behaviour even if he is going about it in an ill thought out way, better to do something and f*** it up than to sit and do nothing at all like Livingstone seemed to do
