What can be done to halt Britain's 'brain drain'?
That is countered by the arrival into the UK of many overseas professionals particularly in medicine and engineering from places like India Swings and roundabouts

US Democratic Party Presidential Election?
Huckabee won't be his running mate The rumours in America are that Condy Rice will be Mc Cain's VP, a highly intelligent woman and would also help gain the black vote at the expense of Obama
-
US Democratic Party Presidential Election?
Because being a Conservative in UK terms I have a natural allegiance towards the GOP in America although I despise Bush

What should be the criteria for getting a British passport?
It should be based on the contribution made to society, proven evidence of strong competence in English, full allegiance to the laws of the crown, length of time in this country and so on

Should we criminalise teenage drinkers?
I think it is far better to focus on those that are actually committing criminal acts under the influence of alcohol as opposed to target a few bored young lads killing time that are doing no harm I would rather for police focused their attention on real crimes

Has the nationalisation of Northern Rock damaged Britain's
The damage of letting Northern Rock go under would have cost the UK economy many many times more than it did to bail it out

US Democratic Party Presidential Election?
Obama would be a disaster He is a very charismatic guy and I give him full credit as a speechmaker and orator but he is far too inexperienced for the oval office, he has spent most of his career as a junior senator and assistant to the district attorney yet with his limited experience he is meant to be put in charge of the most powerful nation on earth ? big mistake He needs at least 1 term as a vice president

US Democratic Party Presidential Election?
So do I It will be easier for Mc Cain to win than it will be for Mc Cain to beat Obama As someone who wants Mc Cain in the White House I fully endorse Hillary ;)

Carling Cup Final
When Uncle Buck was in charge we would have rolled over and died against the likes of Chelsea but we have shown under Ramos that we are a different team now and can give all of the top teams really tough games Spurs are back :cheer:

Newcastle 1-5 United
They are big in terms of fanbase I would say overseas only Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are better known, in Malaysia I saw more Newcastle stuff on sale than I did Chelsea or Spurs even in the Petaling Sq markets and so on, Newcastle are a massive club even if they are not prolific trophy winners I regularly saw them sell out the Park Lane end at Spurs v Newcastle games and given the distance to Spurs that is massive support so they are a team that I respect

Carling Cup Final
WTF was Robbo playing at :manson: I know the profits of pie vendors around White Hart Lane will fall massively if Robbo left but please please in the name of god sell this f***ing fat clown in the summer Ramos
-
Newcastle 1-5 United
Support, fan base, top players playing for them in recent years like Shearer, Owen, Asprilla and so on, they are globally known Losing a club with the giant fanbase of Newcastle and having them replaced by say Bristol City or Plymouth for example will not be good for the Premiership

17 suicides in Wales
If I was the parent of a teenage child in that area I would be out of my f***ing mind with worry right now given what is happening My views on suicide are well documented on other threads so no need to repeat them here
-
Newcastle 1-5 United
To those taking the p*** out of Newcastle it really would not be good for the premiership if they went down Love them or hate them they are a MASSIVE club and it would devalue the premiership to lose such a giant when there is mickey mouse dross like Wigan, Reading, Fulham, Derby and other such clubs cluttering up the premiership I hope Newcastle stay up

Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
Yeah Wenger is a Grade A c**k he really is Gets all high and mighty about this sort of thing but conveniently doesn't see Eboue on Terry, Eboue on Nani, other players on Nani and so on The guy is trailer trash with a suit
-
Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
I would be surprised if he is playing in the next 9 months tbh The likes of Alan Smith and Cisse and Larsson made full recoveries from similar injuries so I do not believe it will end his career but certainly we won't be seeing him again in 2008
-
Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
Having seen a video of the tackle it was late and his studs were showing so under the rules of the game a red card was no real choice but to send him off but I do not think there was any malice or bad intent there, the standard 3 match ban for a straight red is sufficient penalty    @ Gallas :manson:

Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
yes :o An even worse one here :( OUCH
-
Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
DO NOT CLICK IF EASILY SHOCKED its a bad one alright :o :o Reminds me of Cisse's injury, hope like Cisse he gets to play again
-
Eduardo stretchered off [Broken Leg]
I think that is a bit premature  I can remember Djibril Cisse's injuries where his leg was contorted at terrible angles and bone sticking out etc but he made a full recovery and went on to play professional football again Much as I despise the Scum and everyone associated with them I hope he makes a full recovery
- Liverpool out of the FA Cup
