Is Sol Campbell right to say footballers human rights are
No but we used to stand on the Shelf making monkey noises at Martin Keown ;)

Is Sol Campbell right to say footballers human rights are
Legally entitled to yes but that does not mean it was morally right, the rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal is every bit as intense as the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers for instance and you just don't do to your own what Campbell did, had he moved to any other club I would have accepted it but you just don't go and lie to fans, deny the club you claim in the media to love a transfer fee and then go off to join their bitter rivals for nothing however legally entitled you are to do so there is such things as ethics, what Campbell did was 100 times worse than what Figo did or Mo Johnston it was the single biggest act of betrayal since Don Revie left England in the lurch to go to the middle east, if Campbell had gone to Liverpool or Man Utd or Barcelona or any of those on a free I would accept it same way as Liverpool fans accepted Steve McManaman leaving on a Free but you just don't go claiming in the media to love Spurs and that you want to end your career there and then turn round and sign for the deadly enemy Campbell was legally entitled to do what he did but that does not mean that it is ethically right and he can't turn round and expect Spurs fans to wish him well

Racism in football is a lot less than it used to be luckily I remember when I first started going to games that black players would be subject to non stop monkey noises and have bananas thrown at them but fortunately most of that $h!t has been cut out of the game by stewards and police and so on

Is Sol Campbell right to say footballers human rights are
That disgusting creature has no right to talk about this subject the cnut lied and lied and lied again to Spurs fans about signing a new contract then cost us £17m by turning down Man Utd so that he could join our deadly rivals Arsenal on a free and he has the nerve to moan about abuse ?? he deserves all the abuse he gets and more after that dusgusting act of treachery, you dont go p***ing on your own fans by moving to the big rivals for free He is the only footballer I can think of that I would cheer if he did a Marc Vivien Foe on the pitch

Government blows tax-payer cash on finest champagne, vintage
The politics of envy seems to be the phrase i'm looking for ;) You can't expect MP's and diplomats and royal family and visiting heads of state and so on to be drinking bottles of £3 cheap Sainsbury's plonk

Political storm as MPs demand inflation-busting 10 per cent
Its a complete and utter side issue, what the police think about it is neither here nor there, the fact is that MP's would get 10 times what they earn if they were in the private sector and not MP's so if you want to attract the best people then you have to make it financially attractive for them so who cares what the police think about it, do the police deserve more money ? yes they do, does MP's salary have anything to do with the police ? no One of my friends got a SEVEN % increase this year in his salary and a bigger car allowance, does that entitle me to have a hissy fit ? no so why has mp's salary got anything to do with what police are getting ? complete side issue MP's are giving up QC work, giving up surgery, giving up directorships and so on to serve this country so why has their earnings got anything to do with the police ?

Government under fire over 'black only' school trips funded
Disgusting and utterly RACIST If there was a White Pupils Achievement Programme it would result in those behind it being hauled before the courts on race hate charges so the fact there are special awards for blacks is utterly racist and should not be allowed

Political storm as MPs demand inflation-busting 10 per cent
Don't see the big deal tbh MP's are largely professionals such as lawyers, doctors, company directors and so on and they would be earning many times that amount of money in the private sector so I have no probs with them being well compensated for their work It is on the face of it bad timing but 10% is not over a year it is over 3 years and they only got 0.66% last year Lot of fuss about nothing

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
It is not the fault of the players if kids have them as role models the problem there lies with the people themselves and the media, I don't think kids up and down the country are going to engage in "roasting" because Micah Richards did it any more than they are going to shove mobile phones up their arses because Ashley Cole did it or simulate sex in a club because Kanye West did it, I am not aware of any increase in teenage drink driving as a result of Britney or Paris Hilton, I still maintain that people are idolised in their professional capacity as opposed to in their personal lives so as long as Utd players or any other footballer is doing his business out on the pitch to his best abilities it should not matter what he gets up to in the privacy of his own bedroom

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
If they were drinking and having sex on the PITCH I would have a problem with it but they are only employed by Man Utd when they are training or playing, outside of that time they are free agents just ordinary men they are not "on duty" all the time, why is it ok for a salesman or a postman to go out and get pissed and not a footballer ? outside of football hours as far as I am concerned it is their private life and nothing to do with Man Utd or any of us so long as they stay within the laws of the land

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
The big story in the NOTW this morning is about Micah Richards being involved in a "roasting" session with a girl and his mate, should he be sacked too Russ ? Who fukkin cares lol I mean what is the big deal ? the girl was a willing participant there was no struggle no screaming she wasnt being forced to do anything so why is this such a big deal that it is front page news ? Millions of middle class and even upper class people are involved in threesomes, wife swapping, swinging and so on so I dont see how the hell it is a big deal when a footballer is involved in a "roasting" with a willing participant, Richards was merely doing what millions all over the country do yet according to you he should be sacked ? :manson:

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
Kids look up to players on the pitch but surely no one with even a double digit IQ would look up to them off the pitch ? When I was a kid I pretended in the park when I had a ball that I was Glenn Hoddle and would try doing all the fancy tricks but I idolised Hoddle the PLAYER not Hoddle the man and that is the way it should be I see no real problem with the event itself, jeez this sorta thing happens at the end of sales conferences all the time, if this had been postmen or salesmen having this sorta party no one would have given a damn so I dont understand why there is this sorta fuss about footballers they are just men once they have their Utd strip off I am not referring to the rape ALLEGATION in what I am saying above but the party itself, footballers are there to score goals and win trophies they are not there to be pillars of morality and family values, if we are going to kick out every footballer who acts like any other young lad up and down the country on a Saturday night we might as well just have a penalty shootout every week between the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Bishop of York Russ has admitted taking cocaine in his youth, you used to take E's when you were a young man why is it any different if footballers engage in a bit of partying and hi jinks ?

One of the most ridiculous things about this country is...
The Sun p***ing me off <_< They are urging their readers to buy toys for Madeleine McCann and hundreds have so far bought toys for Maddie How about urging their readers to buy toys for the THOUSANDS of kids that go missing every fukkin year <_< <_< you would think Maddie is the only fukkin missing child out there and the "paper's" behaviour pretty much sends out a message to the families of every missing kid in this country (thousands of families) that their kid ain't important just bloody Maddie

400 days to go
Obama's stand on gun control will count very heavily against him too, America love their guns and Obama sponsored a bill aimed at banning gun ownership, very noble cause and hell I agree with him but a gun owner voting for Obama is like a turkey voting for xmas Other reasons he wouldn't win - 1/His surname sounds like Osama 2/His lack of experience, how has a JUNIOR senator got enough experience to be the most powerful man in the world ?

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
There is still no evidence that a rape even took place, that is a matter for the courts and a jury based on the available evidence, this might not even ever come to court so I think it is outrageous that this guy was even named, like I said if he is charged tried and convicted of rape I will call for his castration as rape is a vile offence but at the moment he has not even been charged with any offence so in the eyes of the law he is not a rapist at this point He should be entitled to privacy and not being named until such time as he is charged and convicted, now this guy has a stigma attached to him for the rest of his life and will get all sorts of abuse from the terraces when there is a good chance he might be guilty of jack $h!t I do not condone the things you listed above but I am realistic enough to know that every Friday and Saturday night all over the country working class chav males are roasting, committing drunken and loutish acts and footballers are essentially chavs with a nice bank balance so to me it goes with the territory, anyone that has a footballer as a role model is an idiot in the first place, by all means admire a footballer and respect his skill and have his name on the back of a shirt but anyone that has a footballer as a role model has issues. No one in the private sector loses their jobs for drunken behaviour on a Saturday night so I don't see why footballers should.

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
No offence but that is ridiculous If any player is found guilty and convicted by a court I will be the first to condemn him but until then this is just pure speculation and the innocent until proven guilty thing applies Footballers are not there to be role models they are there to be professional doing a job and getting well paid for it, if people choose to make them role models then that is the problem of the one who worships these guys not the guys themselves Should actors who drive drunk be sacked by studios and never work in Hollywood again ? should any singer that has ever taken a drug be banned from making records ? should anyone in the entertainment industry who snorts cocaine be sacked ? No, it is their PRIVATE lives, so long as footballers are doing their professional jobs well then that is all that matters, they are not vicars mate you can't expect highly paid largely working class males to just sit by a fire in the evening reading Readers Digest, they are entitled to a private life, sacking a footballer for something in their private life is absurd unless they are convicted of a serious criminal offence If any player here is convicted by the courts then thats different but here is pure speculation

The man accused of the Omar Bombing
There was insufficient evidence to convict him so no matter how vile the crime we can't have kangaroo courts, if the courts after hearing all the evidence decided he wasn't responsible then that is good enough for me

Are the Labour Government heading for a winter of discontent
lol  Labour is doomed anyways, a sinking ship, Brown should just call an election and lose with grace and dignity instead of clinging desperately onto power Short of being caught by a national newspaper performing indecent acts on a Shetland pony or something Cameron has this next election in the bag I would have a lot more respect for Brown if he went out in a dignified way by calling a general election in January
-
Are the Labour Government heading for a winter of discontent
Even if there was it would make no difference The winter of discontent was just before a general election Brown if he so wishes can hold out another couple of years or so

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
Van Persie, Kluivert and them Leicester City players carried on their careers unharmed after rape allegations so don't see why it should be any difference in his case if he is not charged or is found not guilty

One of the most ridiculous things about this country is...
Political correctness  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7149525.stm What a crock of $h!t :manson: sure that word is not ideal but ffs it is part of the song how can it suddenly be offensive when the song has been about for decades
