Girls Aloud are my favourite band of all time, although they are not as shiny and exciting now it's been a while since they had new music. Spice Girls is my fave out of the two left but I have no issues with Queen potentially winning as they are iconic in their own right.

I am surprised that ABBA is out before Girls Aloud. They are iconic.

Sugababes were fantastic. It's a shame that they almost seem more well-known these days for having multiple line-up dramas than the music.

Really sad news but not surprising given what we know. I am encouraged by the lovely statements from the remaining girls and from Jesy. Clearly they are full of love for each other and it was a difficult decision to make. I hope they carry on for a bit longer than the next tour!

A few weeks ago I said I hoped it was Sharon who tried to kill Ian, or orchestrated it, because she's somehow found out about his involvement in Denny's death. I really hope that her marrying Ian so suddenly is all part of her revenge plan. (On that note, I have NEVER been so shocked by something in a soap! My mouth was WIDE OPEN when she married Ian!)
