Has anyone got the weekly sales for the winner's singles, please?

This is a good point. Does anyone know the HMV share of the UK download market? I found by googling that iTunes share of downloads was 80% in 2005 in the UK, and 60-70% in 2008 in the US, but no recent figure for the UK, and HMV had 1% of the UK download market in 2005. Unfortunately, the fact that HMV have a low share of the download market would explain why the fans campaign has a bigger impact on their charts.

It's now #44 on the HMV download chart.

It is a good song, although I agree that it may not be typical top 40 material. But if it was released by an established artist, I think that it could be top 10 material, or at least top 20, and would boost album sales. The problem that Leon has is that his album won't appeal to his young X Factor fanbase, as the style is for a more mature audience. He needs promotion, but he is not getting it from the label anymore :wacko: I hope that the fan actions are going to spark some interest.

The idea is to get it to chart high enough to attract more interest from the radio stations. With 10k sold, it will just about reach top 20, 5k top 40, and this seems feseable with the big push from the fans.

I have a question for knowledgeable people: What constitutes a release for singles that are already available as album track (not lead single), and are download only? For example Jordin Sparks - One Step At A Time. It is available already, it is on Radio 1 playlist, yet it has a release date (26/01). So, what does this date mean? Thanks

Creative is one of the better songs on the album with Stargazing. All In Good Time is OK. The rest isn't quite up to scratch, and sounds amateurish, although Leon has a good voice.

Having also read his autobiography, I agree completely with this.

It is a great performance. Rhydian has a fantastic voice and immerses himself completely in the Phantom character.

Sex On Fire is good, but not as good as On Call

This song is definitely a 'grower'. I love it now.

Leon's song has grown on me, and wins. But 'Up' is more catchy and would be #1 without XF. With it, Leon will be #1.

First impression: Leon is better than the song. :o
