Latest press release by Louis The band will play two sold-out dates in Dublin and Belfast in July ahead of a new album in September. "I'm loving working with Westlife, that's amazing. I reckon we have at least six hits on the new album and two hits in the charts right now. "We've got four amazing songs with Ed Sheeran. They're just loving it, they're selling out everywhere," he said.

That's my wish. August is a bit long to be the date for their next single release. Anyway their recent radio interview rotation helped Better Man to be in the top 40 on itunes a bit longer and from those interviews they emphasized how they fought to keep together as quartet and the band running. They are open for updates on their sound. Let's remember a few months ago, Kian said 50 60 percent of the album will be upbeat. I think their 3rd single will have a different producer.

Radio 2 Record of the Week They talked about having 4 to 5 singles to be released from the upcoming album. I would say let's make it 6 to 7 singles.

Smells like it will have the chart run like Lighthouse! Just checked it from its peak 32 to number 89. 57 places down? So if Better Man will end up #84 or lower this week, the single will get the biggest chart drop title ever. Westlife single ballads are over lol, those classic hits are already enough for the majority

Set to be Westlife's biggest drop in the singles chart ever?

I hope we have an official site where we can see the exact sales of every singles charted like in South Korea's Gaon We just have to look on the sales chart, #2 for Better Man and #1 for Hello My Love if only the Thursday sales were included. It is safe to say this is their most successful singles chart wise since 2009 and this 2010s decade compared to Safe and Lighthouse. The thing is they have nothing to prove in the UK Charts anymore, they have many records there which are still not broken up to this day. What they have before, what they have right now and what they will achieve will just be foundation for their next career move and the record label's future decisions maybe for streaming purposes, album sales or a future bigger promotion to US Japan or even the Chinese market I can still see comments that this is the first time they hear about them and their comeback so I hope more singles will be released before the album release because that's the only way to go in this streaming era imo.

Fans fighting over streaming on twitter. If you guys can see this, you can stream a song in all platforms even at work, just put it on a lower volume or on an earphone and put in repeat mode everywhere like Spotify and refresh if you have time in youtube

Yes the people focused on Marks vocals and Kian and Nicky this time. Idk Kian and Nicky's recorded vocals lacked finesse for me for a ballad that's why Steve and Simon doesn't trust them that much in the early days of the band.

Wonder what was the first week sales of Us against the world? You know? Maybe charis This is their first second single since that song in 2008.

Many have said this is a better song than hello my love though. The only twist that I can hear from the single was Kian and Nicky's parts. Shane the lead vocalist of the band for many didn't shine in the song because of the inclusion of Kian and Nicky imo. Well Kian and Nicky from now on will not allow themselves to not have a line on every main release that they will have I believe because all of them had solo albums already and there is no Simon to reject it. I wonder what happened to that Anywhere track.

Out in the top 200 spotify uk update. Hope it will come back and people will realise how hard it is for an old act like them to break in the streaming and how successful Hello My Love was in the UK charts and comparing the streaming era to the physical and even the downloads era are totally not right. Fans who wanted to push for the 2000s ballad sounding music as their comeback single before Hello my love was out doesn't have any idea how the charts work now. I guess the lads know that is why there is an orchestral version.
  21. #33 on itunes uk now

  24. Out of hot hits uk playlist?
  25. Ok Better Man is obviously more for their older fans. If you will all notice on the comments sections of the video of Hello My Love, some wanted it slower or they miss the ballads or the track isn't Westlife. Also while uploading their old tracks on their youtube page, their old ballads are more popular. The release is also in time of the ticket sales opening of their Asian tour dates. On r2 last friday and long before the announcement of the 2nd single, they pitched in a 3rd single is in the works and Kian wanted it to be upbeat as they know what the 2nd release will be at that time already. If this will be less successful than HML, I hope they will release the third single faster like Pink or Jobros next month or before the start of their tour on May 22. The video of better man is nicely done imo and back to basics, simple and maybe lesser budget and hype on radio and tv given this time by the label but I am not worried because I know they are still on the testing the waters stage and this is just the start and the album release in the last quarter is the one to watch for.
