Back in 2000s, 2004 maybe I remember their former record label had a survey like what are the average age most of their fan base. The lads thought at least it would be 30s but the results were 40-60. That's why they have full of cover singles and ballads, that was their market. I;ve read it in a book or article before

I'm sure charis we will get more single releases no matter what. I have a feeling it's part of the deal with Universal. They know we are deprived of single releases. Their promo overseas has been wonderful so far in my observation, major TV and radio plays and promo that I have never seen before since the 2000 maybe. but I admit Syco is way better in UK promotions.
