I'm not that mad about any of them tbh but I think I'd go something like... Joanne (it's kinda sweet) The Fame (it just sounds good to my ear and feels concise) Born This Way (iconic ofc) OOOPS The Fame Monster ARTPOP The bottom 2 could nearly switch...
  2. Confirmed! I'm not too sure what I'm doing with this entry but I was struggling trying to find something and this is one of the more interesting things I've found recently.

Also a Lenovo Ideapad 320 user here  I mainly got it cos it wasn't too expensive for me at the time and had most of the things I wanted but I've only had it a year and already had to send it off to get fixed once last year. Was mostly fine after that but now half the screen is pink (I can see through it but still) and it freezes every few days, I can cope with it for now tho.

Oh thank you! I've now changed mine for the time being or possibly for forever :o
  5. Love the artwork! I feel like, touched by it.
  6. For me, she was one of those artists I discovered right around the beginning - which I think is rare for me! I mean I know her debut single was 'The Wizard' and I'm pretty sure my first discovery was 'What's a Girl To Do?' but close enough :P I remember listening to ~illegal~ mp3s of that album a lot as a teenager. All the other teenagers in that village were probably listening to Slipknot (although funnily enough I have 6 scrobbles of Slipknot from 2007!).
  7. My favourite surprise on it was 'Vampires' cos it's an instrumental - I was expecting the vocals to kick in soon and was hoping they wouldn't haha, and they never did! I love her distinctive voice but I'm strangely pleased that she has an instrumental on an album now.
  8. You better! :3 It definitely has kind of a catchy 80s feel, it's a bit different for her but also feels like a natural progression if that makes sense. It's like a synthpop album. So many artists I like have released / will release this year, I can barely keep up lmao
  9. Out today! Enjoyed it. There's an instrumental on it omg, it's so good too. Really liked 'Desert Man' and 'Safe Tonight' on first listen as well.
  10. ikr! I guess at least we got the rather brilliant M3LL155X EP since then tho! The emergence of LP1 was defo one of the most interesting additions to my musical explorations back in 2014 and thereabouts, it was one of those albums that felt very 'new' and exciting to me, at the time I couldn't recall hearing much music quite like that before! In that sense it was like hearing Portishead's Dummy for the first time. One of those albums that transformed my musical perspectives. Ugh I sound dramatic af. Love her.
  11. FKA twigs will be releasing her 2nd full-length album Magdalene sometime this autumn! Produced predominantly by her and Nicolas Jaar, some song titles and descriptions have been revealed, including the choral a cappella opener '1000 Eyes', witchy trap track 'Holy Terrain', Kate Bush-y 'Mary Magdalene', string-laden 'Home With You', piano ballad 'Mirrored Heart', reflective 'Daybed' and 'Sad Day', which has the amazing description of 'if Opus III - It's a Fine Day ran into Kate Bush on a hillside.' The already out ' ' will also be included. FKA twigs has done some of the most intriguing music of recent years for me so I'm excited to immerse myself in this follow-up to 2014's LP1. (this not being called LP2 tho!!!) I have a feeling this will be like AOTY!!1! or whatever :P

Congrats Liam and thanks Leonardo especially for the 18! And thanks Cameron! I'm wondering if this other song I was considering would've maybe done a little better, but I liked 'La Droga' more so may that gracefully remain a mystery ~
  13. I was getting tired so went to bed shortly before the finale, but congrats to Frank for winning! (first I was typing 'thank you for winning') I had that in my votes and everything, pleased with that. Looks like I ended up right in the middle of the board in the end! No 20s again but thank u to anyone who supported it. That EP is one of the coolest discoveries I've had this year (although it's from 2017 I think). 21-01-18-16-13-36-13 Finally, big thanks to blacksquare, I super enjoyed your hosting!
  14. I really enjoyed your entry - in fact I think it should inspire me to check out some more Anglo-Indian Jazz/Hip Hop/Spoken Word/Classical fusion!
  15. look @ Bré being 'one of the more commercial' lol
  16. I remember thinking it could be Jade too! Also dandy*. Sometimes in these contests I have so many fleeting thoughts as to who could've sent what  I really had no idea who was behind Deja Blu tho, I thought it was a really positively unusual entry, but Jade does make sense for it.
  17. Beautiful entry from the host! I kept feeling like it's probably the entry that's closest to my own sonically? With the ethereal vocals and strong bass. idk maybe that's just me.
  18. Jadeee that was gorgeous! The subtlety and atmosphere of that song made it stand out for me and I ended up giving it 20. Thanks for the 12 too. ^_^
  19. It's ok btw Dandy, it happens!
  20. I was wondering! Because you were so positive about it on plug... I demand 20 points to be added onto my score at the end B-)
  21. is someone deleting posts up in hurr
  22. I feel compelled to mention my observation that these are not being revealed in order of receipt lmao
  23. As I've already said, I've liked everything I've heard from Thylacine, but that song just didn't fit in my votes. Thanks for the SASSY love *.*
  24. Ahh I see, I see. #nowIknowmyABCs
  25. okay but this thread taught me the word 'incumbent'. Hm. Feels like a word I should've known. #foreigner
