Currently fighting the temptation to ask my entry in the YouTube playlist to be changed to the one with the cool fan-made video, but just before I forget, wanted to say to anyone who loves my entry that the video is really cool :) LOL the whole thing makes for a cool audio-visual experience so do check it out if you wish! It has scenes from some kinda sci-fi movie called Immortal. The song totally works even without any video tho, it was perfect during a train ride I had recently :D

I've never owned any vinyl and I feel like a flop music fan :o My family had a player when I was a kid but I was too young to really remember. I just recall us all listening to a spoken version of a kids' book on it! And my Dad had a fairly large collection, the only specific album my memory can pick out tho is R.E.M.'s Out of Time. I have like a fantasy about getting a vinyl player in future and collecting some records. The whole physical collection thing is kinda satisfying, I can't believe I considered selling my CDs a few months ago. :mellow: A lot of great albums in you guys' lists too!

So glad this is on again this year. Confirmed something I've been set on sending here for a while!

I noticed that my song is in a dual where both songs are really highly liked on here, as far as I'm aware. I do think the other one will probably have a slight edge and I'm not just saying that, I think it could still be a close one.

I'm fine with tomorrow as well! It feels like ages since the last one, is that just me? Maybe I didn't go to the one for last final.

I don't often describe songs as that, but I think it sort of fits the bill here? It's filled with existential lyrics, robotic vocals, a thumping electronic beat and loads of atmospheric synths and other goodnesses, including a cool video with scenes from a sci-fi movie called Immortal. Not sure I've seen that one. Hmm. Probably not. But I do like the video, it enhances the mood. mind.in.a.box are an Austrian group. Completely in love with this track right now, so I hope some of you guys like it too!

Yayy great news, Bat For Lashes (Natasha Khan) will be releasing her fifth album on September 6th, titled Lost Girls. The first song out from it, called 'Kids in the Dark', is beautiful and sort of soothing. It reminds me of that BJSC entry, 'Into Deep' by Jennie Abrahamson. The cover art reminds me of something M.I.A. might do :lol: wxV4jpe55PY
