Not sure if anyone else was planning to but since no one actually offered, I've put together a lil UP 27 playlist on plug so please do join me there from like 7 pm tonight! I had to look up what you were referring to, oh my, apparently there has been a long stretch (at least) once before. That was one contest before I started entering. On another note, I have a feeling that my 20-pointer might actually win this contest. And I have a guess for who sent it as well. I'll keep you updated lmao (if I remember, lol).

I really like this album, I can see myself listening to it more in the near future than I've listened to The Colour in Anything.. well, ever, lol (I do like The Colour in Anything but it hasn't drawn me back in that much). I enjoy the "bare, moody and self-absorbed" touch his music has to it. Still very early days, but currently my favourites are 'Can't Believe The Way We Flow', 'I'll Come Too' and 'Power On'. The only track I'm not rly mad on is 'Mile High', oops. The album on the whole does feel like a natural progression for James, the trap influence doesn't feel out of place or anything whatsoever (even if I did note one of the trap tracks as my least favourite :D).

Interesting about the possible Aphex Twin connection, I enjoy his stuff very much (and obviously I lovvved your µ-Ziq entry in BJSC).
