I have entered something truly demonic.

I'd be a vote for themeless edition like I've mentioned before, although I would also be partial to a strings contest somewhere down the line. Shocked at me apparently being #1 in the all-time points thingy now! This contest is teaching me a lot, such as that maybe I'm not quite as picky about dance music as I thought... B-)

Haha no biggie, I mean, a third win would've been a bit extreme anyway :kink: (although fun too for sure) And yeah it's no surprise 'Veyron' attracted high points from #chezbrade at least, and even a few from others yay.

Thanks for the high points, Mr. Host! Bit disappointed about how this entry is performing, I mean when I first entered it I didn't think it had much of a shot but I just loved it lol and then Bré even tipped it for the win but it wasn't meant to be... Nice entry from you <3

Yeah I can't remember how I came across it but I discovered the EP like 2 years ago and used to listen to it quite a bit back then. I do like all the other tracks on it! This contest made me revisit it the other day. ^_^

That damn modern deep, future and tropical house edition ruining the consistency tho with its 21 entries :angry: but I won that one so it's all good

Personally I do think it's better to just be careful with these things as like Lewis said, there were comments in the last contest about High Contrast and other tracks too, like the D&B version of that well-known Hans Zimmer track being a bit questionable. These things happen quite a bit and it's natural cos hellooo, we are all human, but we might as well strive for contests that are as "pure" as possible (for lack of a better word), with as few loopholes as possible. It's better to get these things right from the word go and have a fair contest where people don't have a reason to be confused about the validity of any of the entries.

I did think Chez was going to do this theme (cheers for taking over ^_^ Didn't rly feel like hosting for a 2nd time haha) as he expressed interest in this theme during the conclusion of the last edition! Why so predictable, Chez? :nono: lmao jk. I'm not always entirely sure what counts as trap OR dubstep but I have a fair idea and there's fluidity in both genres anyway. If I find something I like enough that seems to fit the theme, then I'll enter. Can Dobbo pls win again in this edition so we can have a strings theme like he said? :kink: either him or me
