And I'm sure Chez would say "Everyone should be manipulated into doing this poll B-)" Tbh I've been sorta half-looking at this since the beginning but I felt like there were too many newer songs I couldn't remember well and I never got around to refreshing my memory and then it kinda slipped through my fingers. After Ghost Stories something happened and I didn't follow them quite as intricately anymore oops. Even though I love(d) the Ghost Stories album! I liked the new one too the one or two times I've listened to it xo

I was considering 'Fix You' for a bit as well tbh but I like the heavy guitar-y parts in that too much so didn't go that route. (The rest of it isn't that great for me personally)

BJSC 121 Camouflage - Close (We Stroke The Flames) (Single Remix) the ferris wheel is turning the tale is told again and if we don't care we end up all the same! vnk8gf2arx8 Camouflage is a Depeche Mode-like band from Germany that I used to listen to when I was younger. I recently re-discovered this song and decided to enter the catchy single remix of it. The original was released in 1993. I'm pretty sure this remix was also released in 1993, making it I think my second oldest entry (after Massive Attack's 'Unfinished Sympathy' which was from 1991). The remastered version from 2014 is the one on Spotify. The original is also fab, has a lovely strings part near the end which this one doesn't (so how could I not go for that one?!? I must've lost my mind!) but I felt this version would be a better entry, whatever that means. Hope you enjoy and give me my first instance of three qualifiers in a row :P

I know several artists but the main song that sticks out as one I've heard is 'Tennis Fan' in the opposite semi. I was obsessed with Banoffee mostly in 2016, not sure I'm feeling her newer stuff quite as much but she's still cool and I'm looking forward to her debut full-length coming out next month! I've had it in the back of my head to send her myself but none of the songs felt quite right :kink: Pretty sure I've heard the Moko and Nuages songs as well.

(Vanessa is defo leaning more towards indie & alternative these days imo) She's releasing a new album in March. I'm sorta obsessed with the cover: I've been really enjoying her more 'mature' sound for the past few years. Two songs that will be on the album are out now and they're both sounding gorgeous. The general feel so far is not that different from her last two albums Rabbits on the Run and Liberman, both of which I just love. The atmospherics of it all!
