Yeah for sure. Back when that was first out I listened to it a lot and it's got some moments I enjoy, e.g. 'Spiral', that's the only one I go back to these days cos of its catchy vocal line lol. It's a catchy album BUT, looking back it's kind of a weak link for her and my least favourite. I think it was rushed and that's exactly what it sounds like. I don't think I'm ever gonna get another Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (one of my faves of all time) but that would be fab. I've read comments of her saying this new one is her 'Adele piano album' :o Made me think of 'Not as We'.

This is sort of a bop. The intro and verses with that piano was unexpected at first but I like it. Her new album is called Such Pretty Forks in the Road and is apparently out May 1st 2020.

Isn't being late in the list considered good by some? I'd say the order has very little effect in the grand scheme tbh but it might stick in people's minds more at the end or something (if listening in order, which not everyone does). That said, sometimes it's fun being earlier so you can get to your song quicker on plug :kink:

'Fábula' has made it through in all its gorgeousness. That's fab, lovelies :3 I would love to FINALLY get (at least) three qualifiers in a row after this one because it is rather hilariously harrowing (notice the descriptive alliteration) that I've never had more than two in a row after all this time... So hopefully I can find something for next time which sounds like a likely qualifier!

BJSC 120 Rubio - Fábula story mzGSSOyA3sA Unintentionally keeping up with the Spanish-language 'theme' two contests in a row, this however is very different from my previous entry, which almost felt like a bit of light relief. This artist, from Chile, was a late-night find not too long ago and I ended up listening to the album this is from at about 4 am I think. The whole album was fantastic but this is the one that made its way into the contest, with its very cool production and vibe-y vibes. Hope you enjoy!

If it doesn't work, I really wouldn't mind, I'd kinda prefer for it to be one big final anyway so everyone has two chances in the final and not have it be unbalanced. But that might just be impossible with the doubling of entries.

Okay well, my idea sounds quite excessive at first but I've always imagined it to be potentially fun. I mean the idea is actually simple - it would be a contest where everyone has two entries. So it might be interesting to look and see like, how a country might have two hits or two 'flops' or one hit and one flop etc. All in the same contest. Sounds a bit like Masquerade except in this one you would choose both your entries. If the volume of entries is too large, I'd imagine there'd need to be semis where both entries from each country are in the same semi (otherwise everyone would have to listen to both semis).

I for one would be cool with that, I probably have quite a few 'ones that got away' or 'ones I was tempted to send but never did and probably never would'. I think I also skipped the last Frank contest so it would be kinda nice in that way too. adding in: I've also had an idea for a spin-off for actually years now lol, I'm not exactly sure of the details of how it would work but it sounds doable to me. I don't want to steal Frank's thunder tho so I'll maybe bring it up properly later.
