MistaJam thread
Apologies for bumping this old thread, but does anyone know who provides vocals for this track? Searched the internet and have no answers!

Now! That's What I Call Music | The Thread pt 5
So Ariana joins the growing list of artists who've kicked off a NOW! album more than once. It is also Little Mix's second time as Track 2 and Sam's third time as Track 3! Great to see 220 KID, RAYE and Topic make the cut despite their low success - I am quite fond of all three tracks. Great to see double Dua, double Little Mix and both Rain On Me and ROCKSTAR which were omitted from NOW! 106 I am not too fussed about many of the omissions, mostly the usual artists. The exception being Midnight Sky, one of my favourite tracks at the moment! Would have been nice to see Ella included too.

Follow-up singles you prefer to the lead single
Instruction > You Don’t Know Me Lose Control > Piece Of Your Heart Why Do You Lie To Me? > Breaking Me I Know > Touch Secrets > Ride It Perhaps controversially: You Make Me > Wake Me Up Digital Love > One More Time Feel The Beat > Sandstorm

AJ Tracey & Mabel - West Ten
Loving this! I'm getting 'Not Letting Go' vibes given they were both released at a similar time of the year and it is a collaboration between a British male rapper and female singer. Hopefully, this could be in contention for number one too!

Dance Vocalists: Anne-Marie
Foreign World is my favourite album track from We The Generation so that gets my vote. Also like Love Ain't Just A Word from that album. Of the singles, it's Rockabye, closely followed by Let Me Live.

Now! That's What I Call Music | The Thread pt 5
I was wondering if it was licensing issues over being 'anti-urban'. It was a big hit to be omitted and considering Rain was included and I do consider that urban.

Now! That's What I Call Music | The Thread pt 5
I cannot see Toosie Slide making it on 106 - wasn't it mentioned in a video by the company that they never get Drake (except features ofc)? I am sceptical about ROCKSTAR appearing also considering The Box and My Oh My (Camila is normally included) were omitted from 105. Let's hope a few more tracks progress in the chart in the next few weeks as as highlighted, there isn't exactly an abundance of available tracks.

Regard & RAYE - Secrets
Absolutely loving this, could be potentially my personal track of the summer. One of many cases where I prefer the follow up (follow-ups I believe are rather underrated in general). I disagree I can see it making the top 20 given its progress on Spotify and its success on Apple. Top 15 probably not.

Tiësto & Becky Hill - Nothing Really Matters
As much as I love Becky Hill's music, I have to agree you here. They were best to wait until August/September. She's essentially bit non-stop since Wish You Well last Summer. I'd love to see her get a top 5 smash in the future but I cannot see it ever happening myself which is a shame.

Disclosure - ENERGY
Really buzzing for the new album! Ecstasy and Tondo have really grown on me over the last couple of months. Really looking forward to the Kelis track - she's had a number of great dance features. I cannot forsee any massive singles however. Returned to Caracal recently and I enjoyed it a lot more than when I first bought it.

Oliver Heldens
Heldens has been on fire with his releases this year. This, Take A Chance and Details are all brilliant!

Now! That's What I Call Music | The Thread pt 5
Great to see Ritual and I Could Get Used To This make it as I had my doubts Omissions include: Goodbyes, Hate Me and the new one from Harry Styles Castles too - but Lost Without You should have been on 101 and was included late on 102. Slim chance on 105? This Is Real - hopefully saved for 105 although interestingly Ella is included on the Sigala track which isn't even out yet Don't Call Me Angel - film soundtracks are a bit difficult to license so makes sense. All three are included anyway. I won't be buying it. I stopped earlier this year at 102, very soon after joining this site! I don't like the Disc 2 set up. Instead, I take the years' tracklists and squash into two albums - feels like a proper NOW album then.

It’s early yet but the poll on the dance forum got me thinking: Ritual AND God is a Dancer on Now 104?

Ritual vs. God is a Dancer
Love Ritual. Loved since release Still not sure about God is a Dancer. Heard it in bars/clubs too and I don’t know really. May grow will see

Which #01 from 2019's Dance Singles Chart is your fave?
Hi I Check the dance chart every week and it disappointing to see not much movement. Of the list, I like them all, but love Wish You Well. Although, it is a shame that All Day And Night didn't make #1. I queried that a few months ago. Had it been included though, I doubt Play or Here With Me would have been Dance #1s. Giant would have been #1 numerous weeks like Promises and One Kiss did in 2018. Perhaps they'd had enough Calvin domination and decided to find a reason to exclude Giant. - (it would have been my favourite dance #1 had it been included) Sorry could be a future Dance #1.

Now That's What I Call Music! | The Thread 4.0
Now 102 now has 10 'sales' number ones, the most in a while, including the first 6 tracks of disc 1. I wonder if the now team take sales/itunes and what does well there into account when compiling albums.

Now That's What I Call Music! | The Thread 4.0
Now surprise us once again! Would have preferred the usual set-up however as has been echoed, this new solution make sense. So I'm guessing Now 103 will have 6 tracks from Now 3, and so forth? Probably in the minority, but I doubt I will listen to much of disc 2, just not my thing. Disc 1 is strong though! Of the omissions, I don't like most of the urban stuff so not a problem. It is a shame however there is no Sunflower. Could Billie Eilish feature on future albums? Was kinda hoping for Desire by Sub Focus & Dimension given its moderate size. But given its chart peak, I knew it was extremely unlikely.

Now That's What I Call Music! | The Thread 4.0
I think it will be the other way round. Thank U, Next has been the bigger song, and of course, the lead single off the album. I think 7 rings will fit better with the Disc 2 'ness'. I agree with you with regard Track 2 on CD1. There was a similar situation for Now 93 with Justin Bieber having both Love Yourself and Sorry. So perhaps Sweet But Psycho will kick off the album? I see that being highly likely.

George's Top 30 2018
Thank you both :D

Giant (with Rag'n'Bone Man) • Standalone Release
Can anyone explain why Giant does not feature on the UK Dance Chart when it is quite clearly a dance single? (Would post link but haven't reached 20 posts)

George's Top 30 2018
George’s Top 30 of 2018 30. Rita Ora – Let You Love Me I’ve always liked Rita Ora as an artist, and most of her singles I really like – Anywhere was my favourite single of 2017. She impressed again with this banger. 29. Apres – ‘Til Your Love Runs Out Heard this on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems and loved it 28. Syn Cole feat. kirstin – Got The Feeling Also heard this on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems. Reminds of another song but cannot work out which. I discovered there was an original version, I’d say this new version is better. 27. Ariana Grande – breathin’ Ariana appears in this list three times, the first of which is breathin’ which was very nearly above God is a woman. Shame this didn’t have more longevity in the chart and that it is unlikely to make the cut for NOW CDs 26. Ariana Grande – God is a woman Ariana again, it was only when I listened to it again over Christmas that I realised how much I appreciated the song. 25. Cheat Codes & Little Mix – Only You I actually like Cheat Codes' music, and this was a nice song of the summer for me. Love the chorus. 24. M-22 feat. Medina – First Time Heard this on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems and was nicely surprised it became a hit 23. Kungs & Stargate feat. GOLDN – Be Right Here I am a massive Kungs fan (This Girl I’ve concluded is one of my favourite songs of the decade thus far) and this is another banger from him (different yes) and another song of the summer for me 22. Disclosure – Where Angels Fear To Tread I am also a massive Disclosure fan. Of the six tracks they released back in August, this is the one I enjoyed the most. Love the vintage aspect of it. 21. Calvin Harris & Sam Smith (& Jessie Reyez) – Promises Calvin’s tracks this era have been fab. It has been echoed here that Sam should release a dance album, he most definitely should! Love Jessie’s ‘tonight, ohhh’ 20. Jonas Blue feat. Jack & Jack – Rise This is one of the tracks that has fallen in my rankings since release. I really like it and reminds me of the summer a lot. 19. Bruno Mars feat. Cardi B – Finesse (Remix) Much like Rise, this has fallen in my rankings since release. But this is one of favourite of Bruno’s and I love Cardi’s part. 18. Calippo – What Is House This was a Spotify suggestion and I must say, wow. Such a powerful house track. 17. Shawn Mendes & Zedd – Lost In Japan (Remix) The remix totally transformed this song. I love the production from Zedd. Would have been nice to see it do better commercially. 16. Mabel & Not3s – Fine Line I’d totally forgot about this song, and didn’t realise how good it was, especially the production. 15. Ariana Grande – no tears left to cry One of Ariana’s best. Such a beautiful song. Cruelly denied #1 in my opinion. 14. Sigrid – Strangers I didn’t think much of it at first, but once it entered the charts, I grew to really like it. I really like Sigrid, hope she has more success in the future. 13. Camila Cabello – Never Be The Same Havana was fab, so this is a great follow up. 12. Shift K3Y – Only You I really liked Shft K3Y’s 2014 tracks and I feel this is on par with them. Unfortunately, it is not 2014, so didn’t make impact sadly. 11. Kendrick Lamar & SZA – All The Stars Really enjoyed this track. Shame it didn’t make the cut for NOW. 10. George Kwali – When It Breaks (Icarus Edit) Might be a late 2017 track this, but it is such a legendary house track. 9. Selena Gomez – Back To You Really like this from Selena. Found myself singing a lot in the car. The chorus is beautiful. 8. David Guetta & Sia – Flames Their 4th collab, but another powerful banger from them. 7. Sigala, Ella Eyre & Meghan Trainor feat. French Montana – Just Got Paid Wasn’t sure about this on paper, but have loved it since release. My favourite Sigala track by far. Meghan actually impresses here and Montana’s verse fits well. Cruelly denied top 10 in my opinion. 6. Clean Bandit feat. Demi Lovato – Solo A great track from two artists I really the music from. Glad it nabbed a week at #1. 5. Au/Ra & CamelPhat – Panic Room A fantastic dance track here. Fab vocals and fab production especially at end. Glad it made the chart top 40. 4. Silk City & Dua Lipa – Electricity Big Dua Lipa fan and in fact, I have enjoyed every one of her singles. She impresses yet again here. 3. Jax Jones & Mabel feat. Rich The Kid – Ring Ring This track certainly divides opinion. On first listen I was like no. But over the last few months it has grown and grown to be my third favourite song of the year. For a period, it was stuck in my head for ages! 2. Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa – One Kiss Fantastic track from these two. So glad it was the best selling single of the year. 1. Marshmello & Bastille – Happier So ironically, my favourite track of the year is not a dancey single. I first heard it on my way to university so it has been the song of my first semester for me. Such a fantastic song especially the end is really powerful. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Now That's What I Call Music! | The Thread 4.0
Most surprised by a Now tracklist in a very long time. Nice to see they were able to get Cardi B. I am also pleased Panic Room and Back To You made the cut. Some unusual placings like Happier and Just Got Paid (but then I suppose it's surrounded by similar tracks). I respect the decision for Little Mix to be track 1, as Calvin twice in a row would have been unfair. Would've liked to see breathin', but as discussed it wasn't massive and Ariana already features. I expected to see Taste and Lucid Dreams, guess there might have been licensing issues here?
