  1. It's more jumping on Rihanna's bandwagon than artist development. I've noticed Jessie J is another one of the bandwagon jumpers ala 'Laserlight'. Mind you, I love both 'Elephant' and 'Laserlight'. I wouldn't be suprised if the likes of Alexis Jordan, Nicole Scherzinger, Keri Hilson etc start jumping on the same bandwagon with their forthcoming new material...
  2. It wasn't confirmed by Numayania after all so I've confirmed it. I just felt my original entry was a bit too generic dance and some might see it as being cheap so I've gone with this indie-dance Yasmin/Delilah/Katy B-like entry which I think is brilliant in everyway. It's a bit of a mash-up between Yasmin 'On My Own' (production-wise), Delilah 'Go' (vocally) and Katy B (catchyness and ad-libs wise)

I truly hope it fares as well as it deserves too, a cross-genre track is surely the safest bet though? I'm just not sure if there's enough countries participating that like this kind of music though... Buzzjack doesn't seem to be filled with any Yasmin, Delilah or Katy B stans. Oh well.

  4. Thanks Hitstastic :cheer: I've ruled out my second option @ Jack and Ryan. But another ACE option has appeared, another DJ featuring female vocalist club banger and now I'm even more torn  the pm I sent to Oricon includes the new option. I honestly have no idea what to choose, any PM help will be muchly appreciated! I'll do the same for those who help me. Extremely desperate I know...

The album also has 'Drunk on Love', 'Roc Me Out' and 'Farewell' to make the album look better. ALL my friends are obsessed with those tracks moreso than 'You da One' and 'Talk That Talk'. But 5 or more singles would be a Rih overkill all over again :drama:
  6. Yes but surely the fact that YDO is flopping means that she can indeed do some wrong. That Rihanna reign MAY IN FACT be letting up, for a month or so. Mind you, all she needs to do is post "hai guyz Where Have You Been nxt single @beystan4lyf ur a c**t" and she'll shoot to #1 on iTunes.

    #truethat

'You Da One' isn't really flopping I'd say. It's just been overshadowed by 'We Found Love' for the whole 2 months it's been available. Had there been a 3 month gap between the two singles, it would have been a lot bigger. It"s chart run has been pretty decent and it should better its peak of #16 now that WFL is on the decrease.

  7. You must be confused with You Da One. -_-

LOL, mind you, that Rihanna reign just won't let up. She can do no wrong. :smoke: 'You da One' is brilliant in every aspect and I know a lot of people would disagree but idc. YDO better start picking up the pace already and get Rih her top-ten smash #101 <3

  8. Countdown was MUCH better, imo.

    Kelly #11

    Beyonce #13

    Pitbull #13

Ideally i'd have all three in the top ten (plus Katy but she's missed her chance now). :( The top ten really needs a shake up.

Out of Bey's complete bore of an album, 'End of Time', 'I Was Here', 'Countdown' and 'I Miss You' are the only truly decent tracks on it. Her single order should've went like that but it's too late to save her utter mess of an era. At least 'End of Time' is getting released, better late than never I guess.
