I remember really liking the Baauer remix

In 2010: the Glee Cast charted two double-A sides simultaneously in February - Halo / Walking on Sunshine at No 9 and It's My Life / Confessions Part II at No 14. They both lasted 2 weeks in the Top 20.

 

There have been no other double-A sides since 2010.

There were 320 double-A sides to reach the Top 20, the first in 1954 and the most with 21 in 2004.

None of them were big chart hits but there are tons of tracks which sample Tokyo Drift.

They totally ripped off the Brutalismus 3000 remix of Yung Hurn's german cover of "Stan", released in 2022

More afrobeats in the charts. - definitely yes, including a long running top 10 hit

We will get some phonk tracks in the chart, possibly a phonk remake of an older song. - my only incorrect guess, they might have been some in the top 100 but not any big hit

Giuseppe Ottaviani and Hypaton (who is Giueppe's cousin) made a bootleg of What Is Love which Guetta used to play a lot so I guess it's a rework of that.

Original initially came out in 1990, released under the name "Robin Stone"

 

Then it was re-released in 1992 including the Stonebridge remix which is the version we all know. It's a similar story to Nigthcrawlers and MK

Tbh the production is not that far off from some Love Regenerator tracks, it's great that he transformed it also to his commercial tracks

This song is from 2001, the Skylark remix is from 2004, weird to see it released as late as 2006 in the UK
