  1. To be honest I was surprised by the negativity to it. But may be the words Fatboy Slim + the near six minutes running time with 40+ songs to listen to scared people off before they actually listened to it. I was definitely going to jump on M.I.A. but I feel it's sudden high profile video will make it seem old hat in the voting fairly soon; and I noticed you'd ditched the Pipettes; and I'm incredibly shocked that the Lights single has not taken off as I expected (as 2/3 weeks ago I thought it was a surefire Radio 1 Playlist favourite in the making and a future UK Top 10 hit); one of my favourite bands Dubstar are back, back, back; and the new Crystal Castles single is brilliant ....... In short I don't know whom I'm going to go for.
  2. I didn't realise that like if you play for Liverpool or Manchester United that you can't move to the other club right away. Silly me. It might surprise you but it is possible to go from voting from Labour at one election to go and vote for the Conservatives at the next (and vice-versa), you know.

I disagree. The problem lies squarely on this Labour administration bias and mismanagement towards the Public Sector which is bleeding the enterprising Private Sector (which has historically led this country out of recession) dry. As this Labour administration is under the thumb of Bob Crow and his Left-wing Union cronies: This is the number one reason why many long time working class Labour voters like myself who work in the private sector, will be voting for the Party who is going to put a stop to this. Because I'm sick to death of mates who work for the Council; etc bragging about their skiving off at work; looking at things on the internet; taking sickies; are on Final Salary schemes to retire at 65 (or 60) etc; when I have to work hard; have a pay freeze; no overtime (even though my job can't be done properly in the 35 working hours I'm paid for); have been through three department reshuffles which have resulted in many of my colleagues losing their jobs. Whilst I'm sick of the same councils ludicrously voting for pay increases to line their own nest at the expense of the law abiding tax payer. And then you have the likes of fukkin Bob Crow threatening to call the country to ransom if the Conservatives get in. In this case "Greece is the word" if we have another Labour Administration.

  5. Well how come I know from a discussion after work last Friday that I and three others whom all claimed they voted Labour at the next election all said we are planning (reluctantly) to vote fo the Conservatives this time around?

Am I the only one who finds with Glee that: the better the song choices = the worse the episode; the worse the song choices = the better the episode? Because I loved the episode that is going out on E4 on Monday; yet I found the Madonna episode underwhelming from a plot perspective.
  7. Well seeing as Mr Brown has labelled those people as bigotted, they may as well do. Plus as most people have an Old Etonion class thing against Mr Cameron, they would have been far more likely to have expected him to say what Mr Brown has said today to "common white riff-raff" so it would have been less damaging for Mr Cameron than it is to Mr Brown because the person Mr Brown insulted is at the heartland of the core Labour vote and not the core Tory vote.

In short what has happened with Greece is what will happen with the UK, should Labour win the next election and continue to ignore the growing debt; whilst failing to address making public sector cuts (job losses; pay freezes; hours cut) because they are under the thumb of "the new Scargill" Bob Crow. As he said on Radio 5 Live this morning: Somehow after that incident today in Rochdale which was as funny as a plotline in the political satire The Thick Of It; even I'm now having doubts this will happen. Although after Mr Crow's threat, maybe it was deliberate gaffe to distract this from the front of tomorrow's newspapers?
  9. I completely agree. Today has proven in case you did not realise it previously, that Gordon Brown is not a very nice person. Period. A shame because had they had another leader (and definitely if Alan Johnson was their leader) I would have seriously considered voting Labour as I had done with my X in the previous four General Elections. But hey if Gordon Brown wants to alienate his core voters at the heartland of the North England that is up to him. Still I wonder what Armando Iannucci (The Thick Of It co-writer and producer) thought of it: http://twitter.com/aiannucci
  10. I'm listening to my CD I've finished compiling and editing the track list and running order after finding a vague sort of theme. As Peter Robinson would say "Amazing". Actually, that a bit of a lie as he probably would dislike a number of these tracks for not sounding like generic Popjustice flavour of the month music. Well, all I can say is that I love it. :D I look forward to further instructions uploading it to the internet, because I have not done that sort of thing before.

  17. What an incredible video. It makes the Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up & Aphex Twins - Windowlicker videos seem as tame as a Miley Cyrus video & Lady GaGa's Telephone video seem about as subversive as a Leona Lewis video.
  18. Dubstar are back! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dubstar/25906303358 British indie dream pop trio featuring the vocals of Client singer Sarah Blackwood are back after a break of 10 years. On 12 April 2010, the band released a cover version of 'I'm in Love with a German Film Star' for an Amnesty International project. Interviewed by Andrew Collins on BBC6 Music that afternoon, Blackwood confirmed that the band were back together and would be going into studio to record tracks for a new Dubstar album, although she would continue to also record with Client. AYXbQ-RZDaM Are any of you as excited as I am that the (North of England's answer to St Etienne) Newcastle-upon-Tyne trio are reforming?
  19. I always preferred "From Rush Hour With Love" (I loved the wordplay on a Bond movie). But as for them reforming, well if it was say an act of the calibre of Dubstar who were reforming then I'd get excited....... :kink:

A very good list IMHO. The only one I'd disagree with is the inclusion of Fabregas ahead of Frank Lampard. Otherwise I can't fault it.
  21. He is. It was the main news story on the 7PM bulletin. I guess it is not enough for him to vote in Parliament on affairs that affect England; voting the opposite way that would cost the British (i.e. including Scottish) taxpayer on things that would benefit the English (free prescription; additional rebates for English students at University; etc), yet he & his party pushed through the opposite policies for his native Scots. Still to quote the prick on Thursday Nicky Campbell's Radio 5 Live show belittling a caller with an apparent joke "I think a Tory majority (in the election) is about as likely as Steve Davis (the 52 year old semi-retired former 6 time World Snooker Champion who last won the world title in 1989) beating (fellow Scot) John Higgins (the current World Champion and world ranked #1) in the snooker".
  22. No that I am not a GM, I can say what the f*** I like with regards you. Fukkin Prick. Why don't you fukkin get out of this country if you hate it so much, you fukkin waster lazy skiving no good waste of space. In my view I wish you got beaten up in that pub, because that is exactly what you deserved you fukkin piece of scum. It certainly would have happened in my local I can ensure you. Your posts stink this site up IMHO, and make me wish not to post here, because you are nothing more than a WUM or you are a fukkin moron!
