.... and most famously she had the misfortune of releasing her 1997 epic single "Some Kind Of Bliss" on the day after Princess Diana died. And that corresponding album, and its artwork had to be redone & were delayed because it was titled "The Impossible Princess".

Still you've got to give credit to Simon Cowell I thought his mass slaughter of the REM classic about manic depression being used totally inappropriately was bad enough, but I think he might just have surpassed himself. This is how that song should sound before it got musically savagedly beaten & raped. 0bqgy1mebh8

James Cordan wearing a number 2 on his back. How apt, because this track has more than a whiff of #2 about it. WANTED: For the cruel and senseless murder of a seminal 1980s British Pop Classic. Dizzee please do us a favour and jettison that now unfunny (so called) comedian, I believe Rio Ferdinand (who is a bit nifty at the rapping/singing lark) is now available.

Maybe its because he is now impersonating Will.I.Am instead of impersonating Michael Jackson.

If only we could press a Red X Buzzer on Usher to make him stop..

Spellbound = Winners. (if not I'm going to get really annoyed with the GBP). Sebastian Coe = book them for the 2012 London Olympic Ceremony right now.

Hopefully Gordon Brown's BGT favourite has blown it after being out of sync with the first half of that track.

Kieran Gaffney ........ In 1964 a 13 year old drummer appeared on the original British talent show Opportunity Knocks and won for two weeks ..... his name was Philip Collins.

Tina & Chandi = the most talented and least annoying duo on this show tonight. Such a shame the same can't be said for James Corden & Dizzee Rascal.

4th'd. At least change it (if Gary Lightbody has blackmailed you) to Could You Be Happy.

Message to Chris Stone: Wrong Song Choice. You are no PJ Proby; You're no Barbra Streisand; and you are certainly not the Pet Shop Boys. Leave. That. Song. Alone.

Agreed. Win Lose or Draw tonight - I hope ITV or BBC pick him up for a series and get a few comedy/scriptwriters behind him because he is an old school talented comedic impressionist.

Funny. I could have sworn Vincent Van Gogh still committed suicide at the end of the episode. Still I don't know what planet you are on to call the ending of Richard Curtis' greatest work as "nicey picey twee happy endings": IglUmgYGxLM I'd hate to see your idea of a horrible morbid sad ending, as it would probably be so depressing it would make Radiohead slit their wrists.

After last week's underwhelming second of two parts episode. Tonight's Van Gogh episode was without question the best episode of Series 5 by a mile. The Blink of 2010. Richard "Black Adder; Four Weddings & a Funeral; The Vicar Of Dibbley; Bridget Jones's Diary, etc" Curtis can write as many Doctor Who episodes as he likes IMHO. 10/10 PS. Let's just hope that next week's episode is not the Love & Monsters of 2010. :manson:

My dream Top 3 would be: 1. Spellbound 2. Paul Burling 3. Tina and Chandi With: 4. Twist & Pulse

To be honest the manner and rate which Dizzee Rascal is destroying his own well earnt credibility, means he would be a perfect representative in a year's time.
  20. thisispop posted a post in a topic in Television
My dad would do the same, which is why I've grown up cynical of likes of Max Clifford; Alistair Campbell; & Simon Cowell in this world. Let's be honest this series is irrelevent as we can all name the act from this series of BGT whom Simon has got £ signs in front of his eyes (as the next generation's Feck$h!te), irrespective of how they do in the Final.
  21. thisispop posted a post in a topic in Television
Exactly my thoughts. I still get annoyed think how the Feck did Andrew Johnston deserve to finish higher than the far superior and longer lasting Faryl Smith in the Series 2 Final.
  22. It is about as good as England Captain Rio Ferdinand right now.

Britain's Got Talent: Winner Betfair.com odds: Spellbound 11/8 Fav Paul Burling 6/1 Tina and Chandi 13/2 Janey Cutler 8/1 Liam McNally 9/1 (* Friday's SF) Twist and Pulse 18/1 Connected 25/1 Tobias Mead 33/1 Christopher Stone 40/1 Myztikal 50/1 (* Friday's SF)
  24. Obviously it was Sky News' weather presenter Lucy Verasamy. :D Whom was the song Anna (Go To Him) written about?
  25. .... Oh in case it gets missed in translation I'm absolutely gutted for Rio Ferdinand. Whom I think his presence being missed will be a far greater handicap than had it been John Terry. The bookies are not stupid which is why England's odds have now drifted out to 4th favourite behind Argentina as a result of this injury.
