Its Miracle for me. Outside and I Need Your Love are both bops but are slightly generic and are very much of their time.

It's looking promising for Calvin/Ellie to be #1 this week now that they're ahead of Miley on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes. Just Amazon where they're #2.

Haha. Tbf it is performing much better than I expected. I thought it might have a slow burn increase over time, but it’s really smashed right out of the gate. Hopefully it’ll hold up well on todays Spotify update.

Exactly. One person claiming it’s going to debut at #1 doesn’t classify as ‘mass overconfidence’ to me. I think people are just excited about his return to the bigger anthem type tracks, which always do well (By Your Side/Giant/Promises/One Kiss). Ellie is 100% a flop nowadays so I’m sure people will blame her if it doesn’t perform well. :lol:

I don’t think it’s being hyped up too much. Calvin obviously has a history of bringing out big chart smashes so don’t think it’s unreasonable to for people to think it’ll do well. Personally I’m just hoping for a long running Top 10 hit and #1 would be a bonus.
