Exactly! Surely all the huge abba fans have already preordered the album. I can’t see why many people will be getting the album in the second week. I may be wrong but I struggle to see another 30,000 physical copies selling in the second week.

I think it’ll be close between all 4 of Ed ABBA Rod and LM and that they’ll all be on around 30k ish. Coldplay went from 101,000 to 13,000. So I feel like ABBA will do something similar as they have similar audiences. Ed’s album hasn’t been streaming amazing so far so that could see a big fall after this week. Rods last album sold 41,000, but that was in 2018 so will probably be less now due to the decline in sales. So if LM have a good streaming week I think they’ve got a good chance of being top 3.

I agree. It doesn’t make much sense to announce a hiatus and then go on to promote more singles months later. So maybe they’re going to promote both Between Us and No now, because I don’t think they’re too bothered about whether they become big hits or not at this point.

That’s true, but I feel like it’s gonna lose its impact. If there is some sort of announcement about a break with the song release tomorrow, it seems a bit odd to announce the song as a single in March or whenever now that it’s already had it’s moment, if you know what I mean.

Maybe they’ve changed all the plans again? :lol: Between Us deserves its chance to be a single so to have it as a promo track for a week and then push No seems a shame.

This makes no sense to me. :wacko: Fair enough! It is weird to think that they’ve released 3 albums (and some of their best IMO) since 25 came out.

I’m not saying your wrong, but do we have any actually evidence that she loves Little Mix? Thinking about it I don’t really get why there would be lots of other British celebs there when surely the focus is on her and her music. There’s been all these teased performances but why haven’t there been any before the album release to build up hype? And where’s this megamix? That would be great to remind people of all the bops on Between Us and get them to buy the album!

I agree that they very much deserve some time off. They’ve worked so crazy hard over the last ten years and achieved so much! In my opinion they’re one of the most consistent UK pop acts. We could always rely on some epic bops from them and it’ll be a shame to not have that feeling anymore.

Don’t artists normally sing a few songs at these events? Will she sing some little mix songs as well as boys?

Well the song is at #27 on the charts so it is working to some extent. This remix might give it the push it needs to get a new peak, so why wouldn’t they try it.

Also having both 24kGoldn and Iann Dior on consecutive singles after Mood was a huge hit was such a label move.

The thing is with them is that they've never had a dedicated fanbase and the singles did well because they were great songs. So all it would take is another great song (which I still believe they're capable of) and I'm sure it would do really well.

Yeah I guess that's true. I'm still not convinced but I guess we'll see. Although, I'm not against it becoming a bigger hit if it gets their name back out there a bit more.

That seems a little extreme. If it were a new single then I’d probably agree with you. But it’s just a remix that’ll probably do nothing chart wise especially with us coming into the Christmas period. I still have hope they can come back with something good!
