01. Sweet Melody 02. Confetti 03. Kiss My (Uh Oh) 04. No Time For Tears 05. Heartbreak Anthem 06. Love (Sweet Love) Sweet Melody is the clear winner by far! I’ve randomly been drawn to it a lot recently and have played it a lot in the last few weeks. Confetti is definitely second. This has grown on me massively recently also. KMUO, NTFT and HA are all very close together. Their collabs are never my favourites as I feel like they always lose a bit of their personalities. Poor LSL comes in dead last. I can’t even remember the last time I played it. Too much vocals and not enough personality in my opinion.

I like it but I definitely prefer Tick Tock and Higher. They sound more clean bandit esc, where as Drive sounds completely like a Topic track.

Your both probably right. It’s just a bit annoying cause after Giant I’m pretty sure there was an album’s worth of material ready to go, but it fell through.

What do you think is gonna be the future for Adam? Or what do you want to see? The releases definitely seem to be more sporadic and less frequent lately. With only one Calvin Harris release this year (so far) and last year, I’m not sure I could imagine a return to frequent releases. The Love Regenerator tracks seemed to be building up to something at the beginning of last year but he pandemic put an end to that. I’d obviously welcome more releases from him but I think he’s growing out of the Calvin Harris name a bit so I’d be happy with a Greatest Hits album to close of the era and to finally have all the non album singles together in one place.

I actually really love this track and don’t really see why it gets so much hate!

You would’ve though that after the poor performance of Bounce Back they would have stayed clear of using samples and going with a throwback sound. Hopefully now they’ve learnt and that the remaining tracks are more original sounding.

I know what you mean. I was looking back through their insta at the confetti album announcement posts today and it reminded me of all the hype around it and how excited I was. However, I don't really feel much excitement for Between Us. The only thing left to look forward to is the 5 new tracks, but after hearing LSL I'm more nervous than excited to hear them.

How would a mega mix even work? Would it be on streaming or just as a YouTube video?

Lol. Q4 is looking so stacked, especially if Adele releases. At this point I’m just hoping they can be in the top 3 so they continue their run of top 3 albums.

I think they should have put some collectables in with some of the bundles. Like prints of artwork for each of the singles and you’d have to get several different formats to collect them all. Or something like that seeing as the hardcore fans are the ones buying the different formats.

The album definitely seems to have taken a back seat whilst they’ve been promoting LSL. I know they wanted to announce it on the anniversary but I think it was too early as all the hype is gone now. For example with Confetti, they announced it a year ago today with less than two months till release and they had the promo songs and Sweet Melody to keep the hype going. But with LSL flopping, I’m not sure announcing more bundles is gonna be enough to keep the excitement up and the sales coming in for Between Us.

What a mess!! I really don’t get why charts like Billboard and OCC don’t have some sort of system that means artists/labels have to confirm which tracks are singles. Cause all of those songs are only charting because people are streaming the whole album, which should only be reflected in the album chart (which it was). IMO, he should only have 1 song chart which should be the single he’s pushing with the album.

I do hope so. I think part of the issue with LSL is that there is so much going on, so we could do with a more chilled song.

Yeah I think this is pretty much over already. I don’t see what they can do to bring it back. It’s a great track and I know I’m gonna enjoy it in the context of the album but it’s just not single worthy material IMO. I’m very much hoping the next single is a banger and more suited to 2021 music.
