What a mess!! I really don’t get why charts like Billboard and OCC don’t have some sort of system that means artists/labels have to confirm which tracks are singles. Cause all of those songs are only charting because people are streaming the whole album, which should only be reflected in the album chart (which it was). IMO, he should only have 1 song chart which should be the single he’s pushing with the album.

I do hope so. I think part of the issue with LSL is that there is so much going on, so we could do with a more chilled song.

Yeah I think this is pretty much over already. I don’t see what they can do to bring it back. It’s a great track and I know I’m gonna enjoy it in the context of the album but it’s just not single worthy material IMO. I’m very much hoping the next single is a banger and more suited to 2021 music.

I'm not 100% sure why it's not doing as good. However I really don't think its because it's not labelled as a greatest hits. If anything I reckon its probably because it is a greatest hits album that its not doing so well. Greatest Hits do really well because of streaming and so they get great longevity, which i'm confident Between Us will have also. But there haven't been any instances of greatest hits albums selling massive numbers in their first week (well I can't think if any). Even The Weeknd's recent Greatest Hits album only did 8,617 in the first week which was a considerable drop from After Hours which debuted with 25,677. I'm sure Between Us will sell loads in the first week but that's helped by the dedicated fan base who will get lots of different formats.

Yeah this is miles more interesting than Bad Habits. A whole bop!

I really don’t see how the album not being branded as a greatest hits makes any difference. If anything I think it would performed worse as a greatest hits as less people would check it out if it’s all old songs.

NMSS is my personal fave but I think Power will perform better (Not that that massively matters anymore :lol: )

After listening to this a few times in the car on the way to work, it's really been clicking with me more. Although I really need to look up the lyrics as I can't understand about 80% of what Jade is singing. I'd obviously love for this to be a hit but it definitely seems to be struggling and at this point I'm just hoping for a top 20 peak at some point. Although I don't think it'll affect the girls too much as I think the album is the main focus right now and it's gonna sell loads anyway.

They've now all shared that image saying its a promo single which seems a bit odd, not that it really matters how well it does in the grand scheme as they've already had so much success this year. I agree with others who say this is their least favourite single from them since bounce back, but that's still a solid 8/10.

I think it’s a combination of over exposure and all the new releases which is leading to the slow start, but once these album bombs fade away I can see it having a good climb. I don’t think it’ll be a massive smash for them but I’m hoping for multiple weeks top 15/20. For me personally, it just doesn’t sound like a 2021 single. I think it’s the early 2000’s style of production that’s making it not feel right. I’m very interested to hear what the other new songs are like, especially the one they switch this with at the last minute. Bit annoying we have to wait another 2 months :lol:
