Yeah this is miles more interesting than Bad Habits. A whole bop!

  4. I really don’t see how the album not being branded as a greatest hits makes any difference. If anything I think it would performed worse as a greatest hits as less people would check it out if it’s all old songs.

NMSS is my personal fave but I think Power will perform better (Not that that massively matters anymore  )
  6. I think Power is probably the best choice as I think it’s most appreciated by everyone
  7. After listening to this a few times in the car on the way to work, it's really been clicking with me more. Although I really need to look up the lyrics as I can't understand about 80% of what Jade is singing. I'd obviously love for this to be a hit but it definitely seems to be struggling and at this point I'm just hoping for a top 20 peak at some point. Although I don't think it'll affect the girls too much as I think the album is the main focus right now and it's gonna sell loads anyway.

On one hand, I do find it annoying that Ed is clogging up the #1 spot and has clearly planned it out to be there for as long as possible and I wouldn't even want my favourite artists to do that if they could. However, the public are the ones keeping it at #1 each week and with high sales so I can't deny it really. Although I reckon the proportion of people listening to Bad Habits who actually love the song is very low and that its success is just down to the fact that he appeals to such a wide audience who generally like his songs and won't skip when it comes on when streaming. Also, after listening to the snippet of the new song, I can see it being very successful as well. It's got a similar vibe to Bad Habits imo.

  12. They've now all shared that image saying its a promo single which seems a bit odd, not that it really matters how well it does in the grand scheme as they've already had so much success this year. I agree with others who say this is their least favourite single from them since bounce back, but that's still a solid 8/10.
  13. I think it’s a combination of over exposure and all the new releases which is leading to the slow start, but once these album bombs fade away I can see it having a good climb. I don’t think it’ll be a massive smash for them but I’m hoping for multiple weeks top 15/20. For me personally, it just doesn’t sound like a 2021 single. I think it’s the early 2000’s style of production that’s making it not feel right. I’m very interested to hear what the other new songs are like, especially the one they switch this with at the last minute. Bit annoying we have to wait another 2 months
  14. It ended up being only 33 sales away from being at 11! Those few extra iTunes sales making all the difference!
  15. Yay! So glad this made it!! :cheer:
  16. Yeah the competition is very strong, especially when you have to send songs never used before. I love all 4 of those you suggested and I'm leaning more towards The Cure.
  17. The majority of Kanyes album is still ahead so I wouldn’t worry yet. Also I think with the Drake and ABBA excitement this hasn’t had as much general buzz. But it’s still very early days.
  18. The Weeknd - Save Your Tears vs. Måneskin - I Wanna Be Your Slave Dua Lipa - Levitating (feat. SZA) vs. ATB, Topic and A7S - Your Love (9PM)
  19. I think Heartbreak Anthem was filmed a while before kiss my as their bumps definitely weren’t showing as much. So I reckon it could have been Kiss My, Love Sweet Love and No.
  20. They would have so many more number 1s if they didn’t release in November, it’s such a silly tradition to keep up
  21. 70k!!! I'd say that's very generous. I guess with very few examples of greatest hits albums its hard to know how much demand there will be, but I reckon 50k is more likely.
  22. Yeah I've lost all hope of the #1 album.
  23. I think it’s pretty much guaranteed the drake will be above them when his album drops.
  24. I find it hard to compare to previous singles as it sounds so different. I'm liking it so far but I don't think it'll be one of my faves from them (although it's not even official out yet so my mind may easily change )
  25. I think it'll definitely be a grower. Im looking forward to the video also. That should bring it to life a bit more.
