Tbh I wouldn’t have thought it was too far off Platinum. Kiss My (Uh Oh) recently got there and that was released later and didn’t have as good a chart run.

So amazing that it's been #1 for 7 weeks! Number 8 is looking promising also. Matching One Kiss's record would be very impressive!

Very true. Top 10 on the album chart is around 5,000 nowadays which id like to think she’ll be able to manage but I’m not confident in that.

Seeing as Phoenix couldn’t go top 10 with 5 top 10 hits pre-release, it’s really not looking good for the new album… I’m not that excited for it tbh. I enjoyed YOLM but haven’t come back to Praising You at all. Hopefully the next single will be better.

You could add a rule where if they’re not top 100 and are looking to return to the top 40 then they’d reappear. But that chart without old albums and compilations just looks so much better.

Maybe this was never meant to be getting a big push. After more listens I do find that it’s missing something and doesn’t really go anywhere.

I like it but it’s not really single material. I can’t see it doing much especially with Can’t Take Her still doing well. Excited to see the video though as the trailer looked cool.
