  1. Melanie C will be one of the judges this year, on The Voice Australia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omuq9LI2EtI I cannot find a general discussion thread for Melanie C, on here. Only about her performing with others.
  2. Even if there was to be an official exhibition about them somewhere in London. It doesn't mean many foreign fans residing outside of the UK and continental Europe could afford to travel overseas to visit it. A future tour should place some importance on regions they either: haven't toured yet, or little of previously. Include and bring some new or unreleased content and features into the concerts. (If possible and available.) If you include locations in Europe and North America, where they have already visited and performed at, at least once or twice before. It would make for a much longer and more demanding tour schedule.
  3. There's a story from 12 May, reporting that one reason and motivation for a 30th anniversary reunion world tour next year, is because the manager Simon Fuller has an expensive divorce payout of AUD$400 million. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.news.com.au/entertainment/music/400m-divorce-behind-spice-girls-reunion-plans/news-story/1d48e8ac878c856461d8467466980c32%3famp As is likely known, the Beckham's cut ties with Fuller and that would be another reason for Victoria to not get involved.
  4. I just meant that as they are no longer doing much together, whether they would need regular or many staff except for when certain projects, events, or functions occur.
  5. When their 2019 tour was announced, wasn't there only about 5 days before tickets went on sale (in whichever form and method), and 6 months before the tour began? Do they need a team most of the time now?
  6. Taylor Swift toured Australia in February, with 3 concerts at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and 4 in Sydney (Accor Stadium). Let's show those Swifties (fans) a thing or two.
  7. Me, an Australian, just found three reports online about the rumoured 2025 Australian concert at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, (capacity: 100,024). Why in the future after all this time? Surely, if they had ever seriously intended and planned to tour Down Under, they would have done it by now. I doubt it will ever happen. Melanie B always says nonsense that is not true. As previously mentioned, if they are planning to tour Australia, either: Sydney and Melbourne, or also Brisbane and Perth would be the major cities that could have Spice Girls concerts. In 2008, they cancelled a concert for Sydney (17 January). Their only group visit to Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), was in late 1997 to promote Spiceworld: The Movie. Australia had always been a huge market for the Spice Girls — their first two albums went six times platinum each, and we were the only country in the world to send their Greatest Hits to number one in the charts. In the last week, Melanie C was visiting Australia on her second tour here. Despite some cancelled concerts. Below is the report in yesterday's edition of the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne: Are the Spice Girls coming to Australia? May 14, 2024 | Herald Sun: Web Edition Articles (Melbourne, Australia) Author/Byline: Jackie Epstein | Section: Melbourne Confidential 358 Words Read News Document Australia may soon be spicing up its life as rumours intensify that the Spice Girls will perform at the MCG early next year. The iconic '90s girl group hasn't performed together since the 2012 London Olympics and after a recent get-together for Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday bash, it's what we all really, really want. More industry speculation surfaced on 3AW (Melbourne AM talk radio station) on Tuesday that the group would perform early next year at the MCG. Mel B said in March that they were "definitely doing something" in celebration of their 30th anniversary as a group. Brown, appearing on Today, said, without elaborating further: "This is going to be really good and the fans are going to be really happy about it." She also said recently on the British talk show Loose Women: "Oh, no, we are definitely doing something. I'm probably going to get told off, but I've said it. There you go. We'll be announcing at some point later this year. Now, I'm going to be in trouble". Last month, Beckham's husband, former soccer star David Beckham, posted a video from his wife's birthday celebration showing her singing "Stop" with Brown, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton. "I mean come on x,'' he captioned the post. David Beckham has shared footage of the Spice Girls singing along to one of their biggest hits at wife Victoria's 50th birthday party. If that wasn't enough of a tease, Beckham's son Cruz shared another video earlier of the group singing "Mama" alongside him playing the acoustic guitar. He simply wrote in the caption, "You're welcome…". Mel C was in Australia again last month for a DJ set. Last November when she performed at the Heaps Gay Harbour Party in Sydney she said she'd be back "really soon" and "may have some friends with (her)". She also made a brief appearance during the Melbourne Cup Carnival and last month performed at Poof Doof on Chapel St. After splitting in 2001, the Spice Girls have remained friends and reunited for a reunion tour back in 2019, minus Victoria. 8. I received a reply by someone claiming to be Mel C (with 1 like, 6 followers), with a white tick on a blue icon on Facebook, in response to a comment I posted on Mel C's official page. Anyway their reply is: (to my name): "Thank you for your love and your comment, my dear fan, please send me a direct message 🥂❤️" My comment (before their reply) was: " No, Hobart. I am unavailable anyway due to study commitments." Surely, that reply post is not from the real Melanie C. - Should I ignore the replied comment, or send this person a message? https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=942733...c&ref=notif https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=615...33&sk=about I noticed recently after I posted a comment on the Spice Girls official Facebook page (a greeting for Emma's birthday), that soon after I received a reaction (love heart) from someone using the name Victoria Beckham (76 likes, 77 followers). - But there was no blue circle icon with a white tick to verify that poster's identity. I thought celebrities using social media accounts usually don't post or send comments or emoji reactions to their fans comments on posts.
  9. She is not visiting my city and I have study commitments then.
  10. More of the same from each other after 2019. It's been 30 years since they formed in 1994. Apparently the animation project has not been completed and discontinued.
  11. I (among with some other fans) recently received a love heart reaction from what appears to be a Victoria Beckham impersonator in response to separate posts we individually commented on, on the Spice Girls official Facebook page. This Victoria Beckham has no blue and white check mark on their page and very few likes or followers.
  12. The date is right down at the bottom of that poster and hard to see. She likes supporting such events.
  13. Ah. You beat me to announcing it. I already have travel plans elsewhere in Australia in early November, so I won't be attending. Darwin is a surprise choice for a tour location. It is a small city located in Northern Australia. Her tour was announced at short notice.
  14. There is a phrase: You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. (Victoria, though not a horse, not being interested.)
  15. I will believe a future tour will happen when I see pigs fly. If they were serious, they would have done another tour by now. I cannot imagine Victoria will want to join them at Glastonbury ever.
