McFly 'Above the Noise' (15th Nov) +
I've just found the End Of The World on my local social network service! Dunno what to say, I ADORE the tune but I'm confudes with the intro and the outro xD Sounds as Star Treck to me xD Cannot wait till the album comes out, the waiting is so intence this time :banghead:

Radio 1 Live Lounge Volume 5
By far it's the most expected collection CD of the year for me! So many good music gathered in 2 CD - perfect Christmas present :) Though it's not usual, as someone has mentioned here, not to listen to a bunch of indie bands performing pop songs, now it's more like pop and r'n'b artists covering each other. I miss guitar riffs ...

McFly f/ Taio Cruz - Shine A Light
I'd like to hear this live, I'm a little confused by the lack of guitar sound. Love the tune though!! It seems like a good choice for collaboration on both sides, can't wait till it's out! P.S. As soon as someone starts a McFly related topic I expect Josh to come there and slag them off. I can't imagine why would anyone bother to go purposely to the topic you don't like and comment on it. Strange.

McFly 'Above the Noise' (15th Nov) +
Hey have you heard it off the SuperCity? I narrowly failed to subscribe, the traffic was awful, haven't even had the chance to surf through the site as it's been closed :( I hope they solve it soon. Can't wait to hear the album, but no matter that SC gives it for free, I'm buying a hard copy too!

McFly f/ Taio Cruz - Shine A Light
I listened to it and I loved it, even with such an LQ sound as that! It seems to me Taio's voice and the guys' suit just perfectly, the harmony is so faultless and beautiful! It's got both positiveness of McFly tunes and Taio Cruz catchy refrains - I have nothing to wish for in this new song! I can see how well it'll go in both acoustic sessions and remixes, as well as live performance. :music: However, I'm not being naive as to think that it will be possible to overtake Rihanna (though I thought the world could be just a little tired of her :heehee: looks like it's not happening yet ). I really hope for a stable top 5 or at least top 10 for several weeks. It looks quite likely, as SuperCity itself will provide digital version of the single and the site is hugely anticipated by the fans all over the world! McFly aren't successful enough at digital sales, but Taio is, and with Super City's help it may even increase. Btw, am I the only one to see McFly's cover of Dynamite as a perfect b-side of a single? It sounds logical to me, and as long as their version is one of the best it might help promoting the single even more! I'm worried about one single thing: are they dancing in the video?? I saw the piece of them doing some awful dance routine and at first I thought it was just a mockery, but at times they looked too concentrated to be just fooling around. They were truly awful in that, though xD I'm really puzzled, because I wasn't able to watch it online due to my workplace's IT restrictions. To be honest, I'm a little disgusted at the thought that they might have gone dancing. It'd kill all the warm feelings of mine to this Shine A Light.

Cheryl Cole - Promise This
#1, though I'm not happy about it. It's giving a a headache to be honest, might have been better without the freaky refrain, though it wouldn't be so recognisible then. Imo the only de3cent song by Cheryl Cole is 3 words. Just my 2 pennies ^_^

McFly 'Above the Noise' (15th Nov) +
I haven really noticed their absence LOL I was always in course of their events thanks to Twitter. I once tried to analyse what they have been doing during the year 2009 and I got following: * 1 DVD release, which was #1 for three weeks and spent in Top 40 DVD chart over 2 months I think, and which also beat Linkin Park and Madonna live shows by achiving VMA 2009), * 48 live shows in 11 countries overall * over 20 radio/tv appearances worldwide, * 4 different record studios to work on the new stuff. The fact that they have left British music scene for a year doesn't mean they was doing nothing at all. That year was pretty eventfull As for giving their new album away for free again - I don't know how to react, I'm not as excited as I was back in 2008, because I'll get the songs from the Super Site anyway but I think it would be a good opportunity to gain even more different audience. Hopefully they will release a deluxe edition afterall. Old habbits die hard and I wanna have a hard copy of their work :))

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
Thank you, itsme123, for McFly classics at previous page! It was a pure pleasure, even though I've seen them hundreds of times:) This new McFly era completely got my mind, I almost forgot how bloody amazing they are live:) I always used the 'They're so young yet really professional on stage', but now when they're like averally 23-24, it doesn't work as well as it used to. But, it appears to me, that even now their live preformances stand out of many shows current artists do. It's nice to know :)) I pre-ordered a bundle on Townsend! I'm so glad they ship worldwide :)) I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do with the vinyl disc though... I guess it's just for collection :)

Missing You // August 9th
I love the single! Really wish it would make #1 this time, they well deserved it! Although, I know that it's absolutely pointless right now, but I wish they choosed Ready to Rise as an A-side rather than Missing You. I adore this song, one of my favourites not only of The Sats but of all the songs that are around at the moment. Anyway, what's done is done, Missing you has all the qualities of #1, it'll be only fair if they made it this time. Go The Saturdays! :cheer:

JLS Album - "Outta This World" [& New Single Love You More]
I wonder where would they be if it wasn't about the X-Factor. Did you know about them before that? I doubt. And yes, I've heard TCIA and it's not cheesy, It's rather vulgar. But I don't think it's their fault actually, they're just doing what it takes to do to go higher, everyone has their own ways :) I wouldn't buy the album but I'm not everyone. if there's enough people who buy it, that it's probably worth it.

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
They blasted the stage!! Amazing guitars! I loved the and of the mash-up, Party Girl turned out to be pretty heavy live, I love it! Compared to a radio-friendly dance sound of the radio-edit version, It's a huge difference! As I said, the fact tha PG is universal and can be convert to defferennt style is undoubtedly an advantage :cheer: *prays for #1  *

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
Thanks for the posting those, I heard them and loved them (apart from Here Comes The Storm, though it's a bit rockier than Party Girl;)) Though, I'm not sure if Dragon Ball and Sunny Side Of The Street are going to be on the album. Those leakes might have disastrous consequents, McFly might have changed their tracklist for the #th time. I hope those songs are on the tracklist though :) As well as 'This song' which Ifind the best demo of the leaked ones (still feel horrible for listening to them). And the previews of 'Shine A Light' and 'I'll Be Your Man' made me even more excited about the new album! :) To be completely honest, I have no issues with the Party Girl anymore, I love it! If even Harry said it was choking when he first heard their demo, but now he obviously adores it, then it's okay for us, too  Can't wait to hear it live on In:Demand Live on 31st of July! :cheer:

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
To be honest, I hate most of the today's tracks that get into top 10 in recent time, I call it anticrisis music epoch, hopefully it'll soon comes to an end. At first I was unpleasantly shocked when heard Party Girl. But now it's really growing on me, the more I listen to it the more I like it. I'm glad that now they can prove they can do the music everybody seems to be doing and be the best at it. I'm hoping for much better chart statistic this time. But rock-soul as I am, I still hope there are songs in their new album which Mcfly guys prooved to be good at making - catchy positive pop-rock tunes that make you feel, life isn't as $h!t as it seems to be at times

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Haha, it turns funny direction, JLS MAY actually be useful at anything - you get to find out McFly aren't that bad afterall! :) As for people not caring for McFly and them being off market nowadays, I highly disagree. Maybe in this particular forum, where sales say almost everything about an artist, McFly are not that popular, but musically I think they will be in demand for much longer time than some might think. I prefere to listen good quality music, which is McFly for me and so do many people. I'm afraid I'm not so keen on the direction the pop music has taken recently, and the big sales is not an excuse for my ears. Anyway, I think we'll have to wait and see (or hear xD) whether McFly are needed or not. You might even change your mind after you see their comeback:) Because they are coming back very soon:)

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Well, apparently, there won't be single called Here Comes The Storm, it was just fans' missunderstanding. The new single is called Party Girl (sounds very POPish imo, in a modern way ^_^ ), and it's out September 6th, according to the guys themselves. RockFM radio and InDemand radio are rumoured to give a song preview today at 7 PM. It's also been said that on Tuesday there's going to be some press event for McFly, where they may reveal some secrets they've been keeping for almost a year. I really hope after that we will have much more information that is proved by McFly themselves. :)

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
It's exactly what I thought when I heard this demo and Hotel On A Hill one. To be honest, I'm not so keen on this topic, I don't think McFly would appreciate that leaked songs are here, even though they seem to have a positive response. I didn't listen none of them, except those 2 I've mention, simply because I've waited for too long to blow up this like that and not have a feeling of surprise when I actually hear the album versions. Plus, some of the songs might not be for McFly themselves as they are working on different 'secret projects' as they call it. So I don't wanna be misled by synthetized rough demos that I might not like. I am amazed by indecency of some so-called fans who hacked Mcfly accounts and leaked them. I don't blame any of the those who watched it here neither Sasha2 who posted, I'm just appalled at those people who actually upload it in the internet just to draw attention to themselves.

Favorite British Boy Band?
What does a term 'boy band' means in this particular poll? If it's a band that consists only of boys/men, then it's The Beatles, otherwise - this is completely irrelevant poll as I highly doubt The Beatles, Muse and Radiohead can be considered as boybands xD And yeah, McFly are missing. Though I think they are as boybandish as Muse xD

Darius for ITV's Pop Star to Opera Star
I really hope that he'll be more concerned in the next weeks. I think he's got a big potential, it's just his personality that overcame last night. He can be really persistent. Maybe seeing hes opponents will be a good motive for him. All in all, I still think my favourites are Danny, Darius, Marcella (who's done amazingly well as this aria is far from the beginner's level) and Vanessa because of her potential. A huge vocal range but too much freaking out imo  These four people made the show edgy for me. I hope it will be this way in the next weeks :) The crowd got on my nerves during all show, but it was the worst when Danny sang (of course  ). I feel so sorry for Rolando being booed! But he's adorable as well as his lovely accent ^_^

Darius for ITV's Pop Star to Opera Star
You are so right about that. It's what I wanted to say. It was seen in his performance. Opera would be just screaming without heart and soul put in the singing. But I do hope that they will choose something that suits his vocal range next week. It wasn't the best performance of Nessun Dorma imo, even considering how many versions it's got. But he did really well. I don't what to expect from the next week. It will be so difficult for them to learn the next arias. So worried about all of them. I just hope none of them will feel intimidated or otherwise too relaxed and they will put all their efforts to improve themselves even more! I only know two more or less 'famous' baritones, its Simon Keenlyside from the UK and Gerald Finley (he also performs bass arias), but it's just me, I'm sure there are many fantastic arias for baritones. But I guess you're right, most of the famous opera men are tenors. The only bass I can remember is Fedor Shalyapin

Darius for ITV's Pop Star to Opera Star
I disagree. Yes, he started roughly, but it all get improved by the end of the performance. And he was too uptight and didn't want to show it, because, despite his words about not being too serious about the show, he IS competetive and he wants to win and he IS serious about this. So, no matter how fan base he has, if we speak about actual performances, he did very well. So did Darius. I really enjoyed Nessun Dorma sung in baritone (which I didn't expect I will), but I'm afraid he's too concerned, he wants to win too much, it can inhibit him to do that. After all it's just a game, he should enjoy himself. I think Danny was right about this show, you should obviously take it seriously, but at the same time enjoy what you do, otherwise it is a wasted effort. So shame, he can't convince himself in that. Well, I really want Marcella, Vanessa, Darius and Danny to stay and then it will be tough to make a decision who should win. For now, they are my favourites. I wish I lived in the UK so I could go to the show. It seems really entertaining and I adore Rolando! He is the true star of the show, without any doubt :) Speaking of judges, I really don't mind Meat Loaf (inspite of his ludicrous behavior) but I really don't understand what Lorence is doing here. Okay, he's classical FM DJ so what? And I finished a musical school, can I be the judge too? I don't think he's got enough knowledge to be the judge. He never even said his opinion first. Anyway, all the contestants did a great job, let's cross our fingers for the next week. I'm afraid we all need to stock up with some nepenthes as this show is going to get tenser with every week! Actually, I really love the tought of that

Darius for ITV's Pop Star to Opera Star
Ah, they've picked up the wrong video for Danny. Anyway, I really can't wait to see this show, no matter who wins, I'm eager to watch contestans singing opera arias. I really hope no one will ruin my favourite Nessun Dorma :D I'm sure no one would sing it better than Pavarotti did, but still, I really want the contestants would have the stamina (funny how everyone comes up with using this word) to at least try to sing it.

.... and as predicted
I see so many claims that The Saturdays copycats of god only knows what acts - Gaga, GA, who else? It's so strange, haven't anyone noticed, that everybody actually copy each other's dance moves, promo strategy, even lyrics and production of a song tend to be so similar, you need a time to realize who you're listening to at the moment. But it doesn't seem to bother music makers. If it were a problem, they would solve all this themselves. I don't think it's plagiarism, it's just how things always were. But I'm afraid, to stop people say that Mollie 'copies' Lady Gaga she'll just will have to change her hair color xD As for Lady Gaga, I never cared of her music much until I heard a few acoustics versions of her songs on youtube. I was impressed. But I still can't understand why she makes such an ugly and pompous live shows. It's like some pretenstious attempt to copy early Madonna style, which brings us back to the quiet agreement between all the labels. I think artist will do anything now just to draw crowd's attention, because people now are too satiated with all the shows they're offered. Just rememner Robbie Williams "Rock DJ" clip xD It's the kind of reason why I don't really like massive live performances.
